Was so good to return after lockdown! The food was amazing as always, everything was cooked to perfection and our personal requests were met. I love a medium-well fillet (not butterflied) which can be tricky to get right & sometimes I do have to return it for a little extra cooking as it bit too pink for me, which I don't mind and is never a problem as I undestand its tricky request for a fillet and it always comes back perfect & soooo worth the wait! This time it was perfect first time which made it an even better experience. Honestly best tasting fillet ive ever had and Ive tried many in the past, but since discovering cowshed, I simply won't entertain a fillet anywhere else, If we eat out somwhere else I order something different because I know nothin can beat the standard of my cowshed steak! Oh and not just the steak, the fries and the garlic mushrooms are sensational and compliment the steak so well, you could actually eat them alone with a dip they are that tasty! The atmosphere and layout is great, its not plush over the top, its laid back, and quite simple, but still very classy with an authentic feel you can go there casual and not feel out of place, but you could also go dressed up ready for the night. The staff are always really good, very helpful and friendly.

Steak was lovely, staff was attentive And pleasant. The room we was in was a bit stuffy and hot, also abit of walk down all the stairs to the toilet but noones fault. Overall food was lovely and quick service. We will be back. Xxx

Under current circumstances and first day open following lockdown, we found the overall experience much better than we imagined. Staff were attentive but kept a safe distance away. We felt safe without it being overly clinical. Each booth was partitioned and thoroughly cleansed after each party had left. Well done for finding the right balance! Finally the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fab! Thank you!!

We visited here for the second time for my partner's birthday and oh my god!!! Even better than the first time, the food is just unreal I cant even put into words how amazing the steaks are! We have not shut up about the meal and experience we had at the cowshed! Will deffo be back again and again!!!
