We had a lovely evening at the Cowshed! The food was amazing, we tried wagyu biltong for the first time, it was lovely - glad our waiter recommended it! We really enjoyed our meals and our espresso martinis to follow! The guy who was serving us was great banter and we went to NQ64 afterwards following his recommendation - were so glad we did! Sorry we didn't catch his name but he does deserve a special mention - he has family in Galloway and Perth in Scotland if that helps to identify him 🤣 Great night - thank you!

Excellent venue. Loved the food, drinks were fantastic, service brilliant...until we took a breather before ordering our dessert and when we ordered, we were told we “only have 10 minutes left on your table but I can ask them to bring it to you quickly”. We decided to decline dessert. We were then told that we could eat at a space at the bar in the entrance downstairs. This wasn’t an acceptable way to end our meal so we declined again and decided to forgo dessert and the additional drinks we planned and get the bill and leave. Feeling we were on borrowed time, it was a little uncomfortable and a very disappointing end to a reservation we had waited weeks for. Which was a shame.

Excellent service from start to finish, Had the rump steak which was mouth watering and cooked to perfection excellent waiting staff very helpful and friendly,Glad i picked here to eat for my birthday would highly recommend. As the waiter found out it was my birthday we was given a free shot each which i found a nice gesture if in liverpool def a place to go for the best steaks and great atmosphere.

Another lovely meal at Cowshed. My wife and I were celebrating our Silver wedding anniversary with a close friend. So we had a really special friend. Service was great, exceptional food, lovely atmosphere. Top Mark's all around.

The staff at Cowshed are some of the most welcoming and warning staff at any restaurant that I have visited, and when visiting a new restaurant as someone with a dietary requirement, this is a huge relief. Our server was easily able to explain to me which menu items were Gluten Free, meaning I could relax, pick my meal, and not need to worry about cross-contamination and any issues with my food. I opted for their flat iron steak with a side of sweet potato mash and garlic mushrooms, and the steak was delicious and so were the sides. I would highly recommend Cowshed to anyone that is looking for a good and well priced steak in Liverpool.
