Hello I Took me husband for pre panto dinner, we had salad with smoked salmon and sweet potato fries, lovely food would definitely go again
A wonderful experience! We sat next to the window with an excellent view over the gathering evening in Trinity Square. The high tea was excellent. Comprising 4 types of elegantly cut sandwiches, with a rocket and crispy veg garnish. A Cornish cream tea. Panacotta. Fresh berries and cakes. All served on one of those multi-layered plate stands. And a pot of tea served with ornate China cups. More than we could eat, and we were hungry! The service was excellent, attentive and unobtrusive. I wholeheartedly recommend it to round of a lovely day in Nottingham. The specialist G&Ts helped too!
Great afternoon tea. Particularly enjoyed the Panna cotta. Lovely atmosphere with quirky decor and helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends.

Lovely environment but food was not up to much . A few of us had upset tummies in the morning too .Would try again and hope that it is better second time around. The door is open to the kitchen - it spoils the wonderful interior design.
Fab and quirky, good choice of food, good kids menu. Excellent location and staff very friendly. Will definitely be back for afternoon tea and will recommend to friends
The afternoon tea was very nice, plenty of choice and tasty. We did encounter a couple of problems however, even though we had specified when we booked and again in person the day before that we had a lady in a wheelchair they wanted to put us in a booth which was not accessible for her. The waitress soon changed us round but had to move a couple of things so we could get to our table. With the downstairs bar being closed it was quite a high step to get her up and down and not a lot of room for manoeuvre. Apart from those couple of little gripes that were soon dealt with the experience as a whole was wonderful, the staff were attentive and dealt with everything efficiently and our afternoon tea was exactly what we wanted.
Wonderful afternoon tea. Lovely choice and quality of food, very friendly and helpful members of staff. Only downside was that we were sat where the music was quite loud and had to talk loudly the whole time but this still did not spoil the afternoon.
Had the best time, the food was delicious and the service was quick and efficient. Had the moules frites and it was really good! Thankyou
Great setting and atmosphere with friendly staff lovely food and fantastic cocktails. Can recommend for a special occasion or when you want to treat yourself.
Food was not very nice, the waitress was not welcoming and did not smile once and our bill was wrong three times. Would not return.
Food was reasonable but nothing special. Unfortunately even at half past four the music was far too loud to be able to hold a conversation whilst eating. Staff and service were both good but sadly the noise and pushing around of tables with door banging against back of my chair constantly by staff means we won't be dining again
Excellent evening- the service was spot on, the food was excellent, as were the cocktails. There was a really nice atmosphere and decor is amazing!
What an absolutely lovely place, lovely friendly staff, great food and great service. Well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend to friends and family 🙂
Excellent food and a warm welcome. I would recommend it to anyone who like things a little quercky. Will definitely go there again x x
Lovely food and setting for afternoon tea for a friends birthday. Would recommend to anybody. Staff we’re friendly and the choice of sandwiches and cake were good
Not very clear on the drinks menu, wasn't expecting to pay extra for a mixer when we were led to believe it was included in the price.
Great food and great cocktails. Setting is fantastic and really quirky right in the centre of Nottingham. Definitely would recommend to anyone, whether for daytime or evening.
Lovely food and lovely quirky setting. We had afternoon tea and it was lovely
Good service however a little slow, they were clearly busy however I think a little more attention could have been provided to us. Overal happy and would return
we had fantastic food and received brilliant service thank you.
Fabulous restaurant, great food & friendly staff. A lovely vibe in there even though it was an afternoon. Love the quirky decor, don't know anywhere else like it in Nottingham. Would highly recommend it.
Excellent service. Food good but bit disappointed in flavour of chorizo - otherwise would have been top rating. My companion loved it :) We will come back.
Service was slow considering the restaurant was quiet waited too be seated didn’t ask if we had booked. Also they should be careful where they seat guests as the kitchen is open and when you see a chef test a steak with his fingers then lick them and check again it’s not very impressive. Very unhygienic to say the least.
It was a lovely experience with my friend from Australia who I haven't seen for a long time. The two female staff who served us were lovely and very friendly - they definitely made the evening. There was a slight problem with the till which meant we had to wait to pay, but we just stayed and grabbed another drink instead and again, the lady who served us was very apologetic and helpful. Food was nice, but not the best food I've had. My fries were slightly cold and a bit oily with no potato in the middle. I also had to get up to find salt and sauces for the table as the guy who bought our food out from the kitchen didn't bother asking if there was anything else we wanted.
Quirky restaurant with small menu. Managed to sort out a meal to cater to dietary requirements but there could be more choice. Friendly wait staff. Lovely cocktails although pricey!
Great atmosphere! Love the theme 😍 & the staff were brilliant & very helpful. The food was delicious & the menu had a good variety!
Bit disappointed in the menu. Very limited. Have been 3 times. The first visit I enjoyed liked the decir, but by the third visit I didn't find it as entertaining and disappointed with the food. Probably won't go again. But if a novelty to start with.
Service was amazing and very fast especially considering was busy. Food was really good and pretty cheap and the cocktails are awesome. Can't fault the place :)
Fantastic place to eat. So many wonderful things to look at. Great food and attentive staff. Really enjoyed our visit. Will be going again soon.
The table behind us ordered after us and received their food before us. We only had afternoon tea for 4 and a roast chicken dinner. Nothing complicated. Although it states unlimited tea, it was a real pain to attract someone's attention to get more tea. I also thought it was over priced for what you get. £16.00 for it was a lot better than per person. Especially seeing as a couple of the sandwiches I had were stale.
Great sercive, great food and great ambiance. A quirky and stunning setting. Go see for yourself. Its worth it any time of day with a varied menu.
Lovely burger. Shame about the tiny board. Too small for my sloppy eating. The staff were friendly and helpful as ever, which makes for a pleasant experience.
The food was amazing and the drink variety also! Almost a perfect score had the service not been as slow. Will definitely be returning in the future!
excellent service at the beginning. power cut happened, trying to get our bill was a problem. no lights or assistance on stairs very dangerous trying to get out of the building.
A very quirky and fun place, we were there for a late lunch and the food was great, good service also. I imagine that this is also a good place for some drinks in the evening with a good atmosphere but have not had the chance to yet try the place as an evening venue.
Set in a central location, friendly staff to greet you and the afternoon tea is plenty to fill a person! Recommended even just for a visit to the quirky setting
fantastic food in a quirky but beautiful crafted environment with staff that were always willing to help. couldn't have asked for a better experience. we will be coming back
Food was great but service was a little lacking. It was not busy when we arrived yet we were not acknowledged by staff for at least 5 minutes. They could see we were there but continued with the tasks they were doing without so much as a "I'll be with you in a second" once we were acknowledged and showed to our table the food was great.
Lovely surroundings and the food when we got it was good . Service very slow though , nobody brought us a menu my friend had to get up and get them off the side , girl came to take our drinks order then never came back so we had to again shout up to be served. Shame about the service as it's a lovely place and the food was very good 😊
We sat outside and enjoyed the summer sunshine. A great place to eat and drink in Nottingham. Mid afternoon they have a varied range of food from classy meaty burgers and fries, pizzas to tapas style small plates ideal for sharing or going solo. I had a refreshing small plate of salad with smoked salmon and orange segments, very tasty.
Great place, fab/fun decor. Staff were helpful and friendly plus really good afternoon tea! (Finger sandwiches, a savoury pastry, scones with jam and cream, and cakes!)
Curious manor is amaaaazing! The food, drinks and the decor are all adorable. Everything about my first experience was so fun! I'll definitely be going back again soon.
Excellent service, beautiful food and lovely surroundings. Will definitely be back 😁. Very clean and given plenty of choice. Excellent for children giving them the same afternoon tea experience as an adult
Food, drink and ambiance is great! The decoration is amazing and was such a great setting for a hen party lunch. Would love to come again!
Lovely meal friendly staff good service. Relaxed atmosphere with cool music. Lots of quirky items around. The curious theme worked throughout the decor and accessories
highly recommended! we went for 2-4-1 pizza and £5 cocktails on a Sunday and we all had a great time! Really nice atmosphere! Will be going again!
Even after booking in advance we were sat on a tiny table for 4 whilst there were 3 people sat on a large booth. The girl serving us was clearly new and trying her best but a little help or support from others wouldn't have gone a miss!
Could do with a broader menu but other than that this place offers great food, fab quirky décor and friendly service. Have been a few times and would go again.
Good food, slow service. Food is priced on par with other city centre restaurants. We waited 20 minutes to receive 2 diet cokes then a further 20 minutes for someone to take the food order.
