The staff were lovely, food was excellent. Definitely be back.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Best restaurant in Bothwell now !
Food was absolutely delicious. Rump steak & fries were wonderful. Pear & ginger crumble was superb. Lovely ambiance & waiting staff. Overall a great place for lunch. My second visit here and will definitely be going back.
Had a lovely lunch from the market menu. Rump steak was beautifully cooked & fries were delicious. Sticky toffee pudding was brilliant. Overall a great place in the heart of Bothwell & will definitely be going back .
Sunday lunch, best roast beef I’ve had in years, the sticky toffee pudding was amazing, great service
Highly recommend the chilli and basil mojito Buffalo wings are fab!
Nice place, service was very slow & quite expensive. Nosey customers sitting next to us. Cant be helped but didn't make the experience as enjoyable.
Food was delicious and prices were very reasonable definitely be back 😊
Meal was great as was the service will definetly be back.
lovely food and a good atmosphere I will return here
Food was really just average, and whilst i enjoyed it, i dont think i will visit again soon. Service staff seemed very inexperienced and a little disorganised
Always a great night in cut! Cocktails and food are some of the best in Glasgow nevermind bothwell! Lucky to live so close
As always, fabulous! Great service and food is absolutely amazing.

Whilst the staff were very friendly I had to ask for our ordered wine 3 times before it came (whilst we were eating our main) mash was cold and steak was rare when we asked for medium. Wasn’t blown away with it at all. To be fair we didn’t complain but wouldn’t go back, there are better restaurants in bothwell and uddingston.
Went for lunch had the market menu The salmon starter was delicious then we got the steaks No room left for dessert Definitely be back 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Waited 25 mins before we got our first drinks. Booked because we specifically wanted to try the porterhouse steak. On ordering there was none left. This was only at 7.30pm so still so early in the evening. Our back up choice was the tomahawk steak which again was sold out. we were really disappointed. The starters were amazing and really rescued the meal for us. Bernaise sauce was more like a thick mayo, it was unpleasant and steak was average.
I would recommend Cut for all steak lovers. Great venue with a nice atmosphere.
10/10. Best steak I've ever had! Will definitely be back
Nice selection of food and the waiting staff were very helpful :)
Great time, delicious food, enjoyed by both my children too!
Overpriced for whatwe had. My husbands steak was overcooked After looking forward to our visit it is not somewhere i would go back too
Excellent Sunday lunch at a reasonable price. Fish and chips was lovely
Amazing food great staff! Good value for money. Very clean
Great food and great service from start to finish also lovely cocktails
Menu a little confusing, but once we spoke to waiter was very helpful and very enjoyable.
Quick service and a good meal would definitely recommend to others
Friendly staff great size of table good food good beer
My recent visit to CUT was a mixed experience. Firstly, the food was great and the staff friendly and helpful. However, there was one significant issue that impacted the end of the visit. There was a function taking place. This initially impacted us as we were asked to push back our reservation by 45 minutes and seated in the bar instead of the restaurant. This in itself was not an issue as it was dealt with impeccably. However, as the visit progressed, the party was moved into the restaurant (presumably to clear the function area) and to put it bluntly the atmosphere went straight downhill. The noise was unbearable and the room was immediately overcrowded. Our table and other groups were clearly greatly disturbed by the noise and some of the other guests who immediately crowded around our table, making it hard to concentrate and finish our desserts. There was simply not enough room to accommodate everyone. The noise and heat was so overwhelming that my partner and I decided to leave even though we had planned to stay for another coffee. Then when the bill arrived, we had been overcharged by 65 pounds for alcohol we had not consumed. Although this error was fixed, there was not really an apology - partially because there were clear understaffing issues. The above experience did ruin an otherwise enjoyable evening. Due to previous experiences and the good food, I would not be put off returning to CUT. However, it might be a good idea if a similar function is taking place, that the restaurant is shut for a few hours as there is not the room to accommodate so many people. I would be put off if I was aware of other functions taking place.
Restaurant was lovely. Food delicious and all staff friendly and helpful.
Amazing food + service. Had the shrimp sliders to start which were amazing. Portions sizes great
Fantastic 1860 menu. Food delicious and different. Loved it. Highly recommended
Customer service was great and the food was outstanding, can’t wait to come back in future.
Lovely place and great menu enjoyed our visit thank you again
The food was really good (9/10), but the service was pretty poor (2/10). We sat for at least 15 minutes with empty glasses and had not service.
Excellent food and will be back again couldn’t fault it
Portions were small but enjoyable . Could not hear one another for the noise level . However will return
Fantastic food and great service. What more can you ask for
5 of us visited. Only 1 thoroughly enjoyed their meal and that was me. Ribeye was quite tough and fatty n one in particular undercooked to what was requested. A little dissapointed if I’m honest ☹️
The food and service is very good with relaxe staff
Food was cold, sent back came back cold again!! :-(
First time visiting Cut and certainly won't be the last. The food was absolutely delicious cooked to perfection and served well. You sure do get what you pay for. We choose a simple Italian red to join our main course steak which again was easy to drink and very reasonably priced. Only one comment i would make if you have a fussy eating teenager its not really the menu for them.
First visit to the cut, well looked after, will certainly be coming back many thanks

The sourdough bread was amazing and both steaks, Fillet and ribeye were cooked to perfection. The steak gravy is to die for and comes at no extra charge which is becoming more and more unusual.
We had a great time at Cut. Food was gorgeous, staff welcoming and very pleasant. We went into the bar first and had a cocktail, really nice place to sit. Overall we had a lovely night.
A really delicious steak from the market menu was complimented with the sourdough from the a la Carte and then followed by a lovely cheesecake... highly recommended for value and quality 😊
Had to send back steak as overcooked, second steak came and was over seasoned. Hand cut chips undercooked. Front of house staff really good but overall disappointed
I can honestly say it was the best steak I've had in a long long time. Previously heard that you can wait a while on dinner being served, but I completely disagree with that. I was there with my boyfriend on valentines weekend and the service was great, just enough time between meals and the staff were great. It was expensive however, it is true that you get what you pay for. Will definitely be back to have another steak or try something else.
Went as a party of 3 on a surprisingly busy Monday evening. 2 had the market menu and enjoyed their rump steaks (supplement payable). I had the a la carte and the Sirloin steak was excellent. Starters however were not brilliant, but the desserts were really good. Excellent service and venue.

The food was excellent but despite the restaurant being fairly empty the service was very slow,we waited about 20 minutes for our starters to arrive
Fabulous food great service (staff are all lovely and helpful). We went for the Sunday roast and it’s was so good and excellent value. Highly recommend and will be back
