1st time visiting. Really enjoyed it. Excellent service. Excellent meal.

We had a lovely meal with very attentive servers. I would highly recommend this restuarant.

The service was very slow, table booked for 1230 and starter didn’t arrive until 1310, main course didn’t arrive till 1400. Food was not warm on arrival and was very bog standard. I’ve been to the restaurant once before and was very disappointed this time round.

Decided to treat my mum and sister too lunch and had a lovely visit. The food and service was lovely and the staff made amendments to suit. I.e changing ice cream flavours. Had a great visit yet again.

We had the Sunday Special - Chateaubriand with all the usual Roast Dinner Trimmings - delicious. Especially the Beef Gravy which was amazing

This was our first visit to Cut having just moved to the area and had it recommended to us. I had read a lot of the reviews prior to our visit regarding the slow service and poor staff, but this was something that we simply didn’t experience. We experienced the exact opposite and our visit was wonderful with very polite and very helpful bar and restaurant staff. The food was amazing and the restaurant was always filled with very diligent staff tending to everyone’s needs all night. We will definitely be going back and I am very happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Our meal was great, steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. If you wish a well done steak cooked to perfection visit Cut. Waiting staff very attentive and helpful.

From getting greeted with all staff to the young waitress whom was very attentive she other waiting staff serving was all perfect. Sunday roast was exceptional and my first time having steak and was not disappointed. Booking for next month.

We had a great meal from the market menu and service was brilliant! Our waitress, who I think was called Emily, was really nice! Will be back!!

Everything was spot on defo be back!! t-bone was 10/10 !!!!!!

We didn’t order a starter & waited 45mins for our mains to arrive, when we did get our food it was luke warm. Our server told us the T-bone steaks were resting but this didn’t explain why the sides & my chicken main were also luke warm. We also found a shard of glass in one of our cocktails (almost ingested through a straw). Cut Bothwell did apologise & they did deduct money from our bill but it was a disappointing first visit to celebrate our sons birthday & it really put us off going back.

Food was average, had bigger, better steaks for less of the price. Onion rings had far too much batter in them. Tap water filled bottles that they charge £4.50 for without telling you they are charging it

The food was lovely but was a bit disappointed in the service. We were celebrating a big occasion and put it on the booking form and it wasn’t even mentioned. Staff didn’t ask how we were or took much interest in why we were there. Overall a nice night but a bit more effort should be given.

A bit disappointing. One of the party was served burnt asparagus. The burgers were average and the beef overpriced.

We visited on Saturday evening taking our friends for dinner. It was their first visit to Cut. We were looked after all evening by Vicky who was attentive, friendly and really made us feel welcome. It was refreshing to have such great service!!! The food was first class and we will return soon.

The roast was lovely but the waiting time was slightly longer than I would have thought. Good portion size for the beef however not much vegetables or mash
