Fancy Crab

The seafood luxury platter was really bad. All of it seemed defrosted and not fresh at all. Won’t be back but at least the restaurant agreed to remove from bill. Really disappointing

Having been previously for lunch I was looking forward to a lovely meal with family hoever this was not the case. The menu had changed 2 days previously & new menu was v limited choice. I had crab shell in my bones bones started and generally the staff all seemed rather awkward and did not have good customer skills. I remember a gorgeous chandelier from my last visit which was thrown in a corner this time round and most importantly the food was average and certainly not worth the expense. More like drab crab not fancy crab....we will not be returning

Absolutely lovely food, but would of liked to be shown what the sauces were before eating, as wouldnt want to waste a bite on something that could ruin it.

We had a warm welcome and a fantastic meal at Fancy Crab. The whole team was attentive and experienced and advised us on our choices without being pushy. The freshly made guacamole at the table was a particularly nice touch. The seafood platter was beautifully presented and generous for two people and the main courses of lobster tagliatelle and Singapore chilli crab were delicious and full of flavour. The burgers for the kids were a tad too peppery and had too much special sauce for them to enjoy it. That said, our overall experience was really special and as it was a birthday celebration, the birthday boy was very happy indeed!

The host on greeting my husband and I was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant is very grand with a lovely atmosphere. We were seated at a lovely window seat and our order was taken. The drinks arrived in a timely fashion, unfortunately however, the same could not be said for the food. Our order took at least 40minutes and no word of an explanation was offered by the serving staff. When food came it was very cold including the fries. There also was a mix up as we ask if fries came with a dish and it turned out to be rice and the server didn't attempt to address it. He simply shrugged his shoulders. Sorry No return for us and no recommendation either.

Had a very very good meal, the crab burger was fabulous and my wifes snapper was the same. The food cannot be faulted. The waiters were very efficient without being intrusive. Perfect Thank you very much.

Good food. we enjoyed it all but a bit expensive.

I booked a bottomless brunch,to be told when arrived they don't do it anymore. Did't honour it , no sorry , no glass of wine on the house, so left. customer service stinks!

Overall a good experience enjoyable evening will go again and will recommend it

It was not that busy but their staff were not attentive and the food took forever to come. We had our food delivered to the table 45mins after the starters. Given that I am pregnant I was not impressed. The food was also luke warm suggesting that it may have been sat there for a while. I’ve been to fancy crab before and had a good experience but after this I won’t be returning.

The service was below par, bad, after the starters, there was sauce drop on the table, the waiter did not bother to clean up as he was setting the fork and spoon for the main course, I was having the chilli crab, there is no plate for me to put the shell, we have to ask for dessert menu, and no body bother to come back to ask if we want any dessert, after a while, we just ask for the bill.

They were so lovely, we were informed that they were understaffed but I couldn't feel a difference. Very polite and attentive staff, quick service and great food. Overall enjoyable restaurant.

Nice restaurant, good service, should stop adding service charge though, it should be down to customer.

Disappointed with the lobster linguine. Hardly any lobster meat (2cm worth of lobster tail which was very dry) and no claw. Premiere Seafood Plater was overpriced.

Get more staff. The food was not good. I wouldn't return unfortunately.

The food took so long to arrive (more than 30min). Also, waiters did not help refill water and again took too long to give us the bill. However, overall the food quality is very nice, just need to hire more waiters or give them training.

Had a brilliant day and amazing food celebrating my sister's birthday. Staff were amazing, I recommend it to all my foodies at work.

We sat downstairs near the bar area and minutes into ordering we could smell acrid cigarette smoke. The door near the back was left open and the smell was unpleasant. The waiter kindly moved us upon request. For starters, we had scallops and burrata with kind crab. Both dishes we’re delicious and would highly recommend ordering these. We had the Singapore crab for mains and it didn’t disappoint. The smell of cigarettes was quite strong towards the end of the night and I couldn’t enjoy the evening as much as I wanted to because of this.

Very nice and fresh seafood. Ordered the Premium Platter and it was delicious. The service and the staff was excellent - quick, friendly and genuine. Good knowledge of the wine and food. Good value for money, will definitely come again.
