I made an easy booking via Quandoo for our 4th visit for a Valentine's meal treat for my wife and I at her favourite restaurant. We were overjoyed to be welcome back by Reza and Diego and what's surprisingly given the table that we had sat in before creating a welcoming home ambience. We were quickly served drinks (and free fishcakes) and opted for the offerings of oysters, langoustines, and squid starters. The defined flavours of each accent of the meal, including the salads and sauces, was as exquisite as we've come to know on previous occasions. The only item not available from the specials board was the seabass , but there was still plenty of choices available. My wife took the Brixham plaice and I got the middle skate. Both were very large portions, and we took sides of steamed cabbage, mushy peas and new potatoes. Extra credit to Diego for humourously and positively engaging us in the menu searching, options and in entertaining little anecdotes. This restaurant has been here for decades with good reasons. They do what they do to the best of their ability, which is better than anyone else in our opinion. Thank you Team FC and see you soon. Oh, and a side note to anyone who doesn't know... They also run a takeaway, fish and chip shop to the side of the restaurant. So you could enjoy it in or out, but make sure you treat yourselves soon.

We just arrived in London and wanted an authentic fish dinner. The ambiance was lively and the fish (salmon and hake)was cooked perfectly. Our waiter Sergio was so kind and all the staff were welcoming and professional. Just perfect. We will be back for the fish and chips shortly!

A fabulous restaurant the food is beyond amazing so fresh and tasty but over abd above that the service abd servers are so friendly , efficient and awesome always ! Also the restaurant is so immaculate fresh and clean love the white crisp line and space fabulous

Love visiting this fish restaurant...out of the way for me but worth the effort. Enjoyed my meal...grilled Skate wing with capers, so good, buttered boiled new potatoes waxy and delicious and a good crisp super fresh mixed salad...followed on by an excellent rice pudding. Table setting...white tablecloths...greatly appreciated. Keep up the fabulous standards!!

Despite booking at fairly short notice and the restaurant being very full the staff were really attentive and brought drinks and nibbles while we were waiting a surprisingly short time for our main meal. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back soon!!

I have been to Fish Central many times with family and friends. It is my favourite fish and chip restaurant in London , I have always had wonderful food and wine. The excellent desserts are freshly made in the bakery next door.It is excellent value for money.The service is the best and most friendly I’ve ever had. Most of the waiters recognise me as soon as I walk through door.

This was a really good find and better than the reviews I read so please find it out for yourself. The fish was really fresh and well cooked so that’s the main sorted.

Looks like a chip shop but with table cloths and (very friendly) waiters...and some of the best sea food obtainable in London. The food is good value too though the wines (other than house) are leaning towards the more expensive
