Great staff and the food and wine complemented each other beautifully
Food is always delicious plus service excellent..couldn't fault it in anything.
It is the best restaurant in Covent Garden if it is a mixed age group. Only issue was that they should keep the soft drinks in a colder fridge.
Service was very welcoming and efficient with a personal touch and good food to go with it.
Perfect end to the day following a visit to the theatre. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. Will definitely eat there again.
Qualità ottima, tutto buono, personale gentile e disponibile, al prox viaggio a Londra torneremo sicuramente
pleasant atmosphere good food outstanding service very happy with visit
Food was excellent as was the service. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful food and nice service. Will be back on our next visit
Expected the same level as Fishworks in Marlebone but no where near the quality. Greasy batter, overcooked. Not up to standard.
Very friendly and efficient service . Hard working staff. Brilliant
Amazingly cook fish and service was great too. Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere.
Nice food with high quality at a comfortable environment. Good service!
Great service, and wonderful food, will be back very soon.
Food was really good and the staff were brilliant. We definitely eat there again.
Nice table. Dover Sole small and flavourless. Lovely Ukrainian waitress.
Food was delicious! The service 10/10 definitely I will comeback!
Very friendly staff and lovely fish meal. Great service, nice ambiance
Service was fine, food quality good, but generally the dinner was overpriced.
Service and food both excellent! Attention to detail perfect !
Nice restaurant in a great location, all seafood is sourced, stored and freshly cooked in house, the mussels were very tasty, the seabass cooked perfectly, the cod and chips were also tasty and a generous portion size, the fish stew was superb, our waiter waa very attentive and for a central London restaurant the prices are very reasonable. I thoroughly recommend The Fishworks, you should dine here.
Perfect spot pre-theater! Food and service were perfect! Highly recommend!
Our second visit. Excellent experience, good food, friendly service. See you next year!
Food was great but surprised for they couldn’t find my reservation so i had to show my booking and steak wasn’t available
The food was delicious, nice place in good location. Great discovery
Absolutely fabulous lunch. Oysters were amazing. Very tasty mains. Great cocktails and wine.
Delicious food but it was cold in the restaurant and the food was pretty chilly. A great shame.
The waitress made a string of mistakes, but the management responded well and made up for it, which we appreciated
Interesting Christmas menu, quite expensive for what you got though.Staff are pleasant but not very efficient and service rather slow
Only had fish and chips but quality was very good
So good we’re going to go back again tomorrow night ❤️
Thank you so much for the great service. I am very happy to have had enjoyable time.
Thought we would go to Chinatown but as we had tickets for the Duchess Theatre I looked on the internet for restaurants near the theatre. Found Fishworks in the same street, looked at the menu and booked a ticket on the off chance we would enjoy it. Not only enjoy it but could not find fault. The service was helpful choosing the wine and the food was exceptional. I had the scallops to start. Oh my goodness were they good. Cooked to perfection with garlic butter and crispy breadcrumbs. I had the boullabsise
Excellent, attentive service. Very tasty food with a diversity of fresh catch options. Would definitely come back for more.
The oysters were delicious as was the fried cod. The atmosphere was lovely.
Scallops a bit vinegary and halibut a bit over cooked otherwise very good.
Slight confusion with the bill but otherwise great ! Staff were excellent 👍
Good food, nothing too exciting this time. A bit pricey (as always)
A very good dinner and service good atmosphere delightfully fresh fish
A very enjoyable pre-theatre meal for us fans of fish. An excellent selection of fresh fish to choose from - both the Hake and Monk-fish were very good. The scallop starter, although delicious, was expensive for just 2 scallops.
Really enjoyed it, attentive servers, food was good and nice ambience
We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. The fish fell away from the batter and the chips were perfect. Slightly too warm in the restaurant but the autumn weather has been very mild. Will be back again soon!
My cousin and I meet there to catch up so the atmosphere is importanat and it is always calm and easy to talk.
Great fish and chips. bit on the small side but 10 out of 10 for taste! Really was top notch…..great staff , very efficient! I highly recommend it.
Ganz schlechter und unorganisierter Service. Nach langer Wartezeit das Lokal verlassen …
Absolutely excellent. Thank you. Will certainly return in the future
Extremely slow service, to the point of being ignored. Had to ask someone for drinks after 20 minutes. Placed entree orders 15 minutes later but over 30 minutes later had to ask (again!). We were told a large group had pre-ordered so our order was held up. The food was very good and the manager apologized several times. If it wasn’t our first/maybe only time attending London theatre, we might have been more tolerant. But, we were basically ignored and had to ask for service. Not acceptable.
We are regular users of Fishworks and have enjoyed the food on every occasion. On this visit there was some confusion over the order and having ordered halibut from the dialy fresh fish menu I was not expecting fish and chips. The menu has also changed and nthe choices were not as extensive as before.
Fresh fish, beautifully cooked, well served. Wine list is on the expensive side but interesting
The fish was overcooked bad for a restaurant that calls itself Fishworks
