Fishworks - Covent Garden

I love Fishworks! Excellent food, beautifully cooked at a reasonable price with comfortable surroundings and lovely staff.

Food was ok. The linguini were not spectacular. Good sorbet.

Fantastic experience for our first time. Food was excellent but the real plus was the service. Friendly, focused staff where nothing was to much to handle with a smile.

From entering the restaurant and meeting the delightful Peruvian gentleman preparing the oysters , we got an immediate table and we were quickly served and had the most amazing fresh sea food. It was good also to be able to order a 500 ml carafe of wine instead of just the glass or alternatively the whole bottle. ( great flexibility ) . The service was excellent , and it was good to have all of the side accessories such as finger bowls and separate bowls for shells , etc . Obviously, we’re here to eat the fish and other seafood, but the extras were particularly tasteful. This included, especially the broccoli stems

The food was nice but the table location was awful, next to the window it was too cold, the customer opposite me ate their food with their coat on

We got there at circa 5.10 pm- had our first course then because our order chit was lost we had to complain and did not get our main course until circa 6.50 ! It had to be rushed so we could get to the theatre for 7.30 !! The quality of my fish and chips was poor. Fortunately the manager was so ashamed because of our treatment she did not charge us for the food - only the wine.

For fish lovers, this is a wonderful place to eat. The lady that was serving is very nice and very helpful. Each time that I am in London I came here to eat.

As always Fishworks has it all: great staff, delicious food and tasty cocktails.

Food was good but no brilliant. Restaurant felt all was "tired"... Though a Friday evening except for an office party at the back table, most tables were empty... Disappointing for Christmas time Friday evening when you expect more atmosphere.

A last minute booking and change of venue. Really glad we did as it was very good. Delicious choice of fresh fish and pleasant service. Not expensive by London standards. Would definitely go again and recommend.

The service was prompt. Efficient. Very personable. The seafood linguine was good. The sea bass great. Whitebait starter a little disappointed as portion a tad on small size.

We had an amazing time with our 2 children (6&7) the staff were warm and friendly especially Maisie our waitress and Gary who entertained us all with his knowledge of fish! The food was delicious and the atmosphere relaxing. The kids will definitely remember this experience and we will look to return in the future.

Very attentive staff however the noise level was a bit too high for me. Music should be played at a lower volume! I would go back for sure!

Been many times. Always beautiful fresh seafood. Selection of fresh oysters was great. Seafood linguine marvellous and Vermantino wine excellent. Service attentive and knowledgeable. Excellent!

Booked this restaurant for my mum’s birthday. Asked for still water and was charged £9.50 for 2 bottles of water even though we hadn’t asked for 2. Our server was not attentive to pouring our drinks and spilled the water on the table. Without cleaning it up afterwards. She then returned and knocked something over spilling more water on the table and the floor. At no point was there a birthday greeting for my mum which was quite unfortunate.

Always a nice friendly welcome by your staff , perfect food and service . Consistently brilliant.
