Five Rivers

A beautiful restaurant in terms of space and luxurious decor and design. The menu has a large range of authentic dishes from different areas of India. My friend and I Shared a dosa as a starter and it was so delicious that we ordered another! We shared a Goan fish curry and a chicken Byriani between us , both of which were delicious and cooked beautifully. The staff were so helpful and informative and provided excellent professional service and there were plenty of them and they kept checking we were happy with everything. We will definitely go back to the Five Rivers again . It’s definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve been to .

Always an enjoyable meal at Five Rivers, but on a special occasions eg a bank holiday I generally find food not quite so good.

Food was very tasty. Excellent atmosphere/ ambience and service. Location as well in the town centre. Only the price was on a high side for the quantity of food.

Booked online a table for 2 people at 2.15pm on Saturday, on arrival we were told they stopped service at 2.30pm so asked why were able to book a table at 2.15. if this was the case? To which we had no reply. We had a delicious meal and service was quick and efficient. Shame we felt unwelcome and quickly left after finishing the meal. In future we will know but this issue needs resolving.

Unfortunately a relatively inexperienced waiter managed to spill beer on the table - but the staff did look after us so overall ok!

Unfortunately this experience wasn't the best, although unusual for them, there was a poor piece of chicken that spoiled the meal. The other two meals were fabulous though. It's just one of those things...

Large crowd but all enjoyed the food, service & atmosphere. Great job!!

Food was way too sweet, poppadoms were chewy. Staff couldn't understand basic queries. Had to point to menu each time we wanted to order something. Shame, it used to be really good.

Once again I am more than happy recommending Five Rivers for both customer service and food taste & quality.

Excellent service and amazing food every time I visit this restaurant. Really good quality food and every dish whether it’s meat, fish or veggie dishes are a hit with friends and family. Love this place and highly recommend it.

Our table was ready, the waiting staff very good. Our food was average, eg: the sizzling dish wasn't sizzling and mine looked like it has been sitting a while while forming a skin. There were 10 of us Also very pricey

Evening started quietly but some big parties came in and it got really loud! Food was great as always though!!
