From free parking to the rear to fantastic food and service our whole experience was extremely good.we would definitely rebook using the excellent booking App Quandoo.

Absolutely fabulous - from the moment we arrived to when we left, food and service first class with a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back :)

Great fast service and mush food. Cocktails see illy Singapore sling is worth checking out. We also ordered a Long Island iced tea which wasn't on the menu which was good

The Sunday Menu has a good choice, the beef was superb and the quality of the food and service was excellent and I'd certainly go there again.

Delicious, fresh, well prepared, fantastically presented food. The staff are warm, friendly and approachable. We love to dine at George's and it is well worth the drive from stockport.

we cannot fault anything about our evening at George's. We went for my birthday 🎂. I was only in five minutes and given a free birthday cocktail 🍸 which was wonderful. The ambience was perfect and the food 🍴 amazing. A fantastic birthday treat. Compliments to the chef. We will be back.

Visited George's to celebrate my nan's 90th birthday. We had the Sunday roast and both the food and service was excellent. Will be visiting again soon!

Pleasant staff. attentive but without being over the top. We sat outside as the weather was perfect and we were offered water as soon as we sat down. Food was excellent.

We have been to George's a number of times now and have always thoroughly enjoy the food and service. We had booked George's as a birthday treat for myself, and I received a free cocktail 😀 We love George's and their Sunday roast dinner - we can't wait for the next 'excuse' to go!

Lovely food. Great service. Enjoyed it. The soup was very nice, the steak was very nice, the chicken was very nice, the toffee pudding was very nice and the chocolate ice cream was very nice. Overall very nice.

Great restaurant service was a little slow but we was a large party of 10. About 40 mins for main meals but the price and quality far outweighed this

We went on a Friday evening. We had a drink outside before dinner with a nice view of the canal which was lovely. We all chose from the set menu this time and it was all excellent! Lovely atmosphere, really nice staff, an excellent evening out. Thank you!

Outstanding food ( oysters and fillet steak ) and fabulous friendly service. Not to mention superb cocktails ( Passion fruit and chilli mojitos a particular favourite). Plus 25% off On a Tuesday which was a pleasant surprise. Will we be back ? Absolutely

Fantastic service lovely atmosphere food was of a high standard crab linguine looked great but crab was overpowered by other ingredients some times less is more however could not fault anything else would recommend George's well worth a visit .

The meal was excellent and so was the service. Had a very enjoyable evening. Would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to any of my family and friends.

Adequate service. Black pudding starter spoilt by hard poached egg, roast pork was fine, the roast potatoes and the sweet potato were raw. The waitress told me al dente! To my knowledge only pasta, vegetables, rice and beans are cooked firm. My two guests meals were fine except for the potatoes (Aunt Bessie). I paid the bill in full.

Fantastic atmosphere and food and drinks reasonable prices. Waitress was very friendly and explained everything perfectly. Would recommend you go on a Friday night as there is live music and cocktails are only a fiver.

I regularly eat at the George. The staff are excellent and the food is fantastic. Today we were served by a cheerful blonde lady who went out of her way to accommodate our request for a breakfast after 12pm.

Excellent on all counts, food service and quality. Staff could not be more helpful. Food super well cooked portion size more than sufficient. Certainly well go again.
