Goya Thai Bistro - Newton-Le-Willows

I thought the food was overpriced the service was quite chaotic lovely owner needs more staff too cramped cold and not much atmosphere would do better in a bigger venue.

Fantastic food and lovely head chef - we always enjoy a visit here, so much better than a Chinese takeaway. Food is always fresh and very tasty with amazing spice and flavour My only concern is that as her empire expands she wil loose focus on this place and it will lose its special appeal, however if she can manage the new place and remain loyal to this restaurant then she deserves respect and reward for bringing some oriental sunshine to our corner of the NE Go eat there - you won't be disappointed!

Small restaurant with superb food. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The back ground music was unusual but extremely relaxing. Don't miss an opportunity for fine experience.

A fairly small but cosy restaurant with a nice atmosphere inside. The food and service were excellent and prices very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will definitely visit again when we are next in the area.

FOOd was amazing. Service was ok, a little forgetful and could Have been a little more knowledgeable, but we forgave that because the food was so good.

We always enjoy a visit to Chiangmai Bistro because the food is so fresh and tasty. The staff are very pleasant and the service is quick. Yes it is a small restaurant but this does add to its charm and gives it a cosy feel. Try it for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

Lovely tasting food, if a little on the frugal side. However, the extension need some work to give it appropriate atmosphere, lighting , wall coverings and heat would be good!

I can honestly say that every time we go to Changmai for a meal we have alway have a thourougly enjoyable evening and the food and wine is always excellent.

Really excellent food in a small cosy environment with some nice original Thai wines available as well. Will dine here again for good food in a nice not too formal environment. Great for a simple nice evening meal with your partner or a small group of friends

Fabulous food, delicious and well presented. Excellent service throughout the evening. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Food service was prompt but not rushed.

Superb food in a small bistro. Service cannot be faulted. Make sure you book as it get very busy. The Red Curry was lovely and hot but not overpowering.

Nicely decorated, quaint restaurant. Without doubt the smallest I've ever been. Service was great, friendly and quick. The food was a little disappointing as had high hopes, it wasn't bad per se, more a little bland which after being to Thailand is not what I expected. My desert which was a strawberry waffle was not nice though.

Great food and service. Lovely restaurant and does an excellent take away service. Intimate and cosy setting but this adds to the experience. Would recommend. A fantastic asset to Newton and the hig street.

Excellent food, excellent service. We have eaten at Chiangmai Bistro numerous times since they opened in 2015 and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. Expect a very warm welcome. Highly recommended, but you need to book because they have a limited number of tables. Enjoy!

Lovely little place. Worth a visit! Hreat service and the food is lovely. I would advise booking early as it is only small however a takeaway option is available.

Fantastic food again! Highly recommend this tiny and perfect dining experience. Gluten free options are wide and manager arranged for the special yellow Thai curry to be made gluten free so I was able to enjoy it! Absolutely delicious.

This is the second time we have been to the Changmai Bistro and again the food and service was excellent. This must be the best restaurant in Newton Le Willows!

Great food, great atmosphere, another fab meal at Chiangmai! Visited for a family birthday meal, everyone was very impressed with the food and overall service. Will be returning soon!
