Food was average, service was really slow and inattentive with no where near enough staff.

The waiter tried to open a screw top with a cork screw, forgot our rice and portions were really small…..not a great dining experience!!!

I went with friends for dinner midweek. It was not too busy and not too quiet. The food selection was very good and everything was cooked really well. Presentation and portion size was just right. Good value for a central London restaurant. Toilets were clean too!

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, fast and friendly service. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked, the lamb chops really are something else. The starters were delicious and so was the bread. The saffron ice cream was also great. 10/10. We'll definitely come back.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and have always loved the food, but lately I’ve been a bit disappointed. The portions — especially the dips — have gotten noticeably smaller and are no longer enough to share among three people like they used to be. They also got rid of the option to mix and match different dips, which was one of my favorite things on the menu.

The ambience was good and service was fast. Some minor issues. The mains came along with the starters which I found a bit odd, the fesanjan was too sweet and watery, and the mirzaghasemi lacked flavour. Other than that it was a good experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Hafez. The food was delicious, with an impressive variety of options. Our group included a vegetarian, a ‘fussy eater’, a meat lover and even a ‘snacker’, and every single one of us left genuinely satisfied. The service was outstanding from start to finish. We were so well looked after, and a few of us who stayed on after dinner were served a fantastic wine, with the team checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, something that feels increasingly rare when restaurants are busy. We truly felt like valued customers. And to top it all off, the interior design is absolutely beautiful , a real must-see! Highly recommended.

Great food, parking wasn’t the best and waitress wasn’t too pushy but observant. Wasn’t a long wait between starter and main either. Decor was something I’ve never seen before. Pretty much not ordinary. Had a good time.

We've been coming to Hafez since 1989 and have always enjoyed the food and pleasant setting. It was unusually busy today and a bit noisy as there was a screaming baby at the table next to us, but this was not the restaurant's fault (nor the parents - they did eventually take the baby outside until it had stopped crying). Food was very nice, freshly cooked and well seasoned, although I'd have liked more lamb in my khoresht ghaimeh bademjan. The staff were pleasant and courteous.

Great to be back at Hafez after ten years. Nothing changed in these years having a great Persian culinary experience. Wonderfull to be back and thinking of old memories having lived in the Bayswater area for some years.
