Wonderful restaurant we have visited for decades. It has never disappointed in terms of quality and atmosphere

The same family has been running the restaurant for decades and so as the customers. I have been visiting this restaurant with my father, and now coming time to time with my boy.

The best restaurant in the town and the staff are very friendly

Rang there for a confirmation and some enquires, she told me to hang on and made me wait for a long time , but actually forgot about me ! Got there and made us wait for the menu ,, while seeing her hugging someone and took her time to chitchat which was very rude. !. Also , the roast shoulder of lamb was very rather over price for that small portion of meat with small portion of rice and potatos - all of which without any much of gravy .

I will certainly recommend it .. it is great to see old school business are still around .....I really appreciate the family effort on running it ....

No music too loud, food came very slow on half empty restaurant. Waitress was in rush didn't have time to answered any questions. There was snacks on the table olives which we didn't know that must pay extras, prices for the value is not worthy, we had to pay £1 extra for the seat. They put tables everywhere u can smell another person breath next to you. They overcharge us for 4 people and we where only 2. They overcharged us. They where in rush to take our plates and clean of every kept asking us when we would go as the table had timing... unacceptable

This was absolutely the best lamb I've had in my opinion

There were 5 of us plus a baby, we were seeated immediately at 6pm having booked in advance. The food was delicious, the service good, the ambiance lively, the only thing is the seating is so tight you can hear every consation on nearby tables. It seating/tables were uncomfortably close. So an overall decent experience but not sure we'd go back even thought the food and service were good.

The markups on the wines were extremely generous. Fish was too pricey.

Restaurant with really fresh and high quality ingredients, the food was delicious, particularly the lamb dishes. The atmosphere was very nice, rustic and cosy and we dined on Valentine’s Day and the lovely hostess brought a rose for all the ladies in the restaurant. Had a really positive and warm experience dining at Halepi, food made with lots of care and love from a family who clearly care about the food they serve ! Would definitely recommend to friends and family
