We had perfect experience with reservation . And Halepy is our favourite place !!

Been coming here on and off for nearly 40 years. Never disappoints. Food is great and the staff are all lovely.

Very fresh food, the salad, the lamb and the chicken were really tasty.

Buzzy atmosphere but very NOISY. Good food but EXPENSIVE. Fast service but INDIFFERENT. Plated food sizes SMALLER. Not the place it used to be but still an experience.

I thought booking in advance would save me the long waiting time but it doesn’t seem to matter at all. I had to wait outside for no less than ten minutes. However, food was good.

We tried to walk in on a Sunday night having discovered the restaurant on our Google Maps "Restaurants near me". The restaurant was full and we could not get in. We made a reservation for the next night and were seated immediately. This is a very "iconic" Greek restaurant run by a family (?). The tables are all squished together with very little walking room. I spent more time just watching the clients and the staff moving around. We ordered Mousaka and Greek Salad. The portions were very large and we could have easily split each dish, which would have left us room for dessert. We were given a dish of olives, pita bread and olive oil. Those alone filled us up. The Mousaka came with a side dish of roasted vegetables. We were offered a plate of Turkish Delight candy at the end. Except for the noise level, which was very high, I highly recommend this restaurant. Just be sure to make a reservation online and consider sharing your plates.

Overall the ambiance was exactly the same as I remember from 20th ago, which is exactly what I was happy about. However food wise, we were a little disappointed with a couple of dishes we ordered unfortunately. We saw other tables order different meals which I believe might have been better choices. No regrets for sure, but if we go again, we will surely order different options. Service was great tho!

It was a horrible experience. The waiter who took our order was extremely rude, so we decided to leave and cancel everything. We were disappointed because we were looking forward to trying and enjoying the food. I definitely won't be coming back and I won't be recommending it to anyone I know.

There was no need for music as the restaurant was full and everyone was talking and, as the music got louder, so did the level of shouting.

We try to eat at Halepi each time we visit London. The food and the service have never failed to deserve the highest ratings. While Halepi is not a designer establishment, their commitment to the highest quality traditional Greek dishes is unwavering. On our first visit, some 20 years ago, we were advised to order kleftikon as our main meal. While there are many other dishes on the menu that may be as delicious, we've never ordered any alternate. Go to Halepi and discover your favorite!

The food is excellent, including the fantastic variety of meze. The staff are very friendly and service oriented. The Greek music playing in the background puts you in a mood for some uzo. Strongly recommended.

First visit. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and lovely food though a tad expensive. Food cooked to order so a little waiting but acceptable. Sat next to someone who had been coming to restaurant for over 20years and always visits when in London. Many Greek people there.

I have dined at Halepi many times over the past many years and will continue to do so with family or with guests. The food was delicious as always and the service excellent. The money spent was worth it. I definitely would recommend it to all.

the "baby' lamb was disappointing. it had big bones in which appeared to be neck bones. it seemed like a big of piece of mutton. Also the green beans were so hard and undercooked that they were inedible. Although I left a lot of food on my plate no one asked if everything was alright with the meal ( the usual friendly waiters weren't there today). its a shame as before I had a very high opinion of this restaurant.

Delicious veal! could have done with a few more veggies. They were generous with the Turkish delight!
