Hamgipak - Parsons Green

For a very busy friday night, there were only 2 staff. We waited for 15mns just waiting for the menu. Our order arrived around half an hour later. We didn't complain. They were doing their best and they were attentive enough but two staff can not handle a very busy place. Foodwise, a bit disappointed that we had to pay for everything we order, even for lettuce that usually comes with the bbq. Serving size a bit small too. Taste is so so.

Lovely waitress and amazing food! The music was turned off at some points and was so was very quiet.

Great service and food. Though it was busy the waitress was super efficient and kept us updated on when our food was coming.

First experience of Korean food and we loved it. The kimchi was delicious and so was everything else - loved the spiciness. A touch pricey, we thought, though being from Leicester we are not used to London prices. Hence 5 stars rather than 6. Our waitress was extremely helpful explaining the food and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Great Korean BBQ. Try the chicken wings they are amazing

I have reserved a table 1,5 hours before my booking time and the my reservation been confirmed, fine. I have got there and they were closed due to electrical issues. I don’t mind if they have any issues and closed but in that case don’t confirm my reservation. It was very disappointing.

I like the entrance, although I won’t say it was delicious , we asked for the bbq ( meat and belly pork) but it was unsolty and very small portions for the price you pay , customer service was great , however I wasn’t satisfied with the food.

Bbq made it very expensive and was not that flavourful. £5 for lettuce is absurd. But dumplings and starters were nice

The staff was very kind and the starters were great, but the meat was really poor quality and overpriced. Also the menu description is not correct. If I read crispy pork belly I don't expect a few thin slices of dry bacon .

It was my first time at a Korean restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great food and attentive service. Definitely will go back again

Very friendly staff who were helpful with the grill. Enjoyed the stew and fried chicken. Not a large range of alcohol but not a bad thing.

The food is so delicious and a really good bbq experience. The waiting service was great - it’s a small restaurant so only 2 waiters for the whole restaurant but they handled the crowd very well. Overall - great experience, highly recommend.

My favourite Korean restaurant, really authentic - and coming from a Korean who grew up eating this. The best dish, and the one I keep ordering every time I eat here is the seafood stew (SoonDooBoo Jigae). My son also orders from here on a weekly basis. None of the fusion BS here, nor adaptations for Western taste. It's the real deal.

Bad points: - The bbq meat portions are very small, I'd say that one person needs to order 2 portions to be full. - Very long waiting times, it took us an hour and a half to finish dinner and we only ordered 3 dishes. We spent nearly an hour waiting or our food and there were only 4 tables in the restaurant. - The Doenjang jjigae soup was sour, definitely something wrong, I've never had it sour before. This is a lovely place to eat with an authentic korean menu! The rice cakes are just gorgeous as are the BBQ items. On top of that, the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

Expensive meal (£60+for 2) but quality food and service. There are many great Korean restaurants in Soho and not many in Kensington/Chelsea and more west so this is a great option too, only wish it were a bit better value money wise.

My friend and I had a lovely dinner at Hamgipak, atmosthere is cosy and modern, all the staff are pleasant and very helpful. We got suggestions and explanations about everything we asked. The lady, dark skinned, lovely smile, who was serving us was very profesional. We had a couple of starters and table BBQ, with which we got help and lessons on "how to" from both our server and another male member of staff. I have been to several Korean places but none of them had such an atentive people looking after us. Food was delicious and my friend, who tried Korean food for the first time, was really impresed (especially about soju!), so we are coming back for sure!

I had lunch with my daughter who is studying in London. We both enjoyed the meal. The food was tasty and well presented, and the atmosphere was nice and clean. I think we will visit again if we would happen to be in the area. Recommend!

Great place and love the bbq meats! Be nice to have more kimichi with the bbq meats. I would come here again and try new dishes.

Nice waiting staff and pretty restaurant. Unfortunately the food is just not great . Either rather luke warm and feels as if it’s been around quite a while or very hot but a bit tasteless . Shame as we had high hopes . Reasonably priced.
