Really awesome place. Would fully recommend for a casual lunch.

Great food and excellent service as always =) we were in the front room which is a little louder than the back but it is a pub so this is to be expected!

Great evening, only disappointment was that the bar shut at just after 10pm without a warning bell for last orders (was still busy and football still had 30 mins remaining!)

There was a bit of a mix up which delayed our food, but it was soon resolved (and they gave us complementary popadoms while we waited)

We were only visiting Birmingham and Hen and Chickens was recommended to us. A lovely pub and we were made to feel very welcome. The food is amazing. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here if you like Indian food. Thank you for looking after us.

Had to wait a long time between starters and main course. Only had table for 2 hours and due to the long wait between starters and main course we were asked to leave the table after a short while after eating our mains.

Fooooods freakin awesome. Great atmosphere. Easy to get to from tram. Then back into brum for cocktails and dreams.

A first visit. Surprisingly empty from what we've heard about trying to get a table here but it was 5pm on a Sunday. First impressions were good. Beers ordered and menus perused we chose a large mixed grill with fish pakora, salad and popodoms - delicious 😋 Well definitely be back 👍
