Great food great service great environment and atmosphere parking can be difficult but I’ve always found somewhere and it’s a sign it’s popular which is a sign it’s good

Lovely vibrant restaurant serving top notch food. Staff are very friendly and helpful and and cater for your every need. Great selection of gins and ales too.....will defo be back.👌

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a very good atmosphere on a not particularly busy Friday night. Good food and drinks and service was top notch. Not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for.

Food was delicious, great range of drinks. My partner doesn't drink alcohol and was so impressed with the range of alcohol free choices, and the Craft beer and gin selection was amazing! Everything was really clean and super stylish and we had a brilliant time with friends. Service was excellent, everyone was lovely! Might be our new favourite place.

Great food and service. We were shown to our table straight away. Drinks arrived promptly. Food was delicious, service was discreet and we will visit again soon.

We had a fabulous(third visit!) meal at Hops and Chops last night. They have the most wonderful selection of gin! The food is amazing,with lots of it! The waiting staff are attentive and friendly .

Really good meal at an excellent venue. We went for a birthday meal and were looked after brilliantly by the staff. The food was superb and craft beer selection was brilliant as well

Another great meal at Hops and Chops with the family. Everyone chose various steaks and were all very pleased with our choices, seriously great steaks. I’m on slimming world and they kindly served veg without butter & oil so I could still enjoy my and stay on plan. Great service as usual, thank you, we’ll be back again soon.

First time at the restaurant and all staff were friendly & accommodating. Was able to try two different wines before deciding which one I preferred. Food was very flavoursome. These guys do awesome Facebook marketing the restaurant too.... Massive thumbs up

Great food, service is brilliant, good drinks quality and selection and strong kids menu. We have been to the Smoke Pit in Northampton but I think this sister restaurant beats it. Overall a fantastic evening and we will be back.

Great atmosphere, service & food - have visited a few times & never disappointed but you must pre book as always very busy even the bar area

Great food,ambience and good portion size for the price. First time there and we will go back. Belly pork was cooked to perfection as was the sword fish. To top it all off they have an amazing gin selection.

This was my second visit to Hops and Chops in a week. Love the atmosphere, the food and the gin! Highly recommend the steaks, swordfish and the 1/2 roast chicken - amazing! Will definitely be returning for a third visit!

Second visit can not fault anything food staff superb. Great place looks good on the eye and it’s comfortable. Next visit will probably be with friends.

Hops and Chops was recommended to me as I was looking for somewhere different to take my partner for a birthday lunch. We weren't disappointed - knowledgable and friendly staff and a great menu with plenty of choice. Good selection of craft beers on tap and the decor is pleasantly different. It wasn't busy for a Saturday lunchtime so we've decided to try it out one evening as I'm sure the atmosphere would be different.

Food is excellent, service can be a bit slow during busy times but it's very friendly and welcoming! Steaks are the star but they have a brilliant selection of mains so it's a great restaurant for varied tastes.

Excellent experience, great food and lovely selection of gin. Would be good to see a wider selection of wine and local ales. Service good despite it being very busy.

Really enjoyed our visit to Hops and Chops this evening thank you. All our meals were delicious and the service was great. 5 of us were celebrating a 10 year olds birthday and the team were very happy to help with a suprise cake delivered to the table with candles. Great to see you’ve replaced your plastic straws with strengthened paper ones, well done.

We had the pork belly starter which was delicious and my pasta dish was really nice. However the 12 oz rump was a thin piece of steak which when requested rare hardly had the cooking time needed to make the juices start to run so was really not nice st all. At those prices you expect a fantastic meal, so won’t be going again.

Went for Sunday lunch. Really lovely food. Service excellent and staff were fab! Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you very much. .

Fast, efficient service, fabulous food, great choices.. the gin menu has to be seen to be believed! I recommend the Sunday roasts - the gravy was out of this world!

INDIFFERENT FOOD. EXPENSIVE STEAK FULLY CREDITED AS IT WAS TOUGH AND UNEATABLE. SUPPORTING VEGETABLES WERE EITHER UNDERCOOKED OR OVERCOOKED. WINE MENU WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ AS LIGHT CONDITIONS WERE POOR AND THE LAYOUT OF THE WINE LIST WAS IN VERY SMALL PRINT. STAFF HAD TO BE REMINDED TO BRING SOME SIDE ITEMS ORDERED WITH THE MAIN COURSE. A DISAPPOINTING EVENING FOR OUR GUESTS. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING ANYTIME IN THE FUTURE.

Delicious and well-presented meals. Menus should be replaced more frequently and communal mustard pots should be replaced for hygiene purposes. Poor calculation of our change!

Hops and Chops is a refreshing change to the normal meal out experience. Quirky dining area with friendly well informed staff. The food was really good and well worth the price.
