Visited this restaurant prior to a performance at the Donmar Warehouse. This is a small intimate restaurant with excellent food and fantastic service all at a reasonable price.
Very tasty food, ample but not over-sized portions. Service good - not hurried nor over attentive. Cosy seating but not cramped. Dessert selection mostly "bought in" but home made tiramasu very nice.
Lovely small, friendly restaurant that serves great food. Due to a points failure on the DLR we were running quite late but thankfully the restaurant held our table for us. The service was quick, efficient & courteous & the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Lovely food, a lovely family run business in the centre of London, and excellent value for money - we will be back! Thank you! :-)
First class food & service - a delightful taste of Italy in the heart of Soho ! Long may it continue to prosper & provide such great value.
Very good service and excellent food, I would definitely recommend to my family and friends. What a lovely little gem of a restaurant, top stuff!
We had a nice experience when we visited the restaurant on 02/08/2018. The food was very good and the service was very friendly. The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating was the fact that we had to ask for cutlery a few times after each course (which the waiter/waitress kept forgetting to bring us). With our main pasta dishes that we ordered the staff didn't give us any spoons to eat with and I found it hard to eat my main course with just a fork. We did ask once for a spoon but as none arrived we continued with our dinner without making a fuss. All in all it was a good experience.
Friendly staff and good old fashioned Italian food. Nice pre- dinner drinks, tasty starters and lovely veal Milanese for main course overall very good value and will return
Initial thought was that it is an ordinary old Italian restaurant. But our concern turned to delight. The service was attentive and friendly. Our food was above expectations. Although there is no children's menu, they were happy to serve a single dish split into two. For our post theatre lunch, we couldn't have chosen better.
A really nice restaurant in a great location. Tasty food, generous sized portions and lovely, low-key setting that feels miles away from the overly hyped restaurants of Soho.
An absolute pleasure from the moment we walked in to the restaurant. The welcoming and attentive staff ensured we did not go without, and the food exceeded my somewhat high expectations- will be back!
We visit this restaurant regularly. On Saturday they were busy and we had limited time. They served us an excellent meal with great efficiency so that we did not feel rushed at any point
A lovely little restaurant ideally located for pre- and post-theatre meals. Excellent service and delicious food! The size of the pepper grinder needs to be seen to be believed!
Great little restaurant - we ate there between the two showings of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and service was prompt and the food was delicious
Excellent Italian food and fast service. Convenient to theatre district. Only complaint was the amount of time we needed to wait for our check after dinner.
A lovely quaint restaurant. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning on our next theatre outing in town.
Fantastic little gem of a restaurant. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Made our trip really special for a 50th celebration. Food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back 😊
The quality of the food was outstanding, the selection of wine excellent and the staff did everything they could to make it a very pleasant experience
Good food friendly service and great value for money and we would not hesitate to eat here again if we are out in the West end
Nice warm welcome and friendly service. Food oversalted for our taste and desserts not made in house, otherwise a good follow-on to our theatre trip.
The food is excellent, real traditional Italian cooking, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. One of my favourites in Soho. Highly recomendad
Great little family Italian in the heart of London. Honest authentic food one of the best homemade tiramisu I’ve had all the veal dishes were excellent. All served in a typical Italian family way that makes you feel that you are sitting in a small town in Italy not the bustling centre of London
I have been going here for over 15 years and the food never disappoints. The bread (Bruschetta and Garlic Mozarella) is excellent and the Spaghetti Melanzane is my favourite pasta dish. Best Italian I have been to in London and rivals many I have visited in Italy. Great spot for pre/post theatre supper.
Good service and Good food. The brushetta was to die for. We had a very nice evening. The price was ok. We recomend it every day.
Delightful little Italian restaurant. The food was excellent and there was a very wide choice of dishes. The restaurant staff were very friendly. Will definitely be returning.
Very nice restaurant, a cosy place with good food and attendance. Good for children and families. Reasonable price for a very good meal, I recommend it.
Very good service and excellent authentic Italian food. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.
Faultless. Great service. Great food. Conveniently located close to the Harry Potter Play. Just over £60 for 3 course a la carte meal for two. Special theatre deal available.
Good Italian food and atmosphere, will go again. Service was excellent and meal well priced. Convenient for a trip to the theatre too, right next door.
Pleasent homey place. All fresh ingridients and real Italian style. Nice music and atmospere. Good for families and friends. Not formal. Like to return back
Great location for Prince Edward theatre. Extensive menu and all the food we received was perfectly cooked. As good risotto was amazing. Very friendly service.
Fantastic family run Italian restaurant in the heart of Soho. This was a second visit and I can’t wait to go back. Food so fresh and tasty and the staff lovely.
For the starter we had the Sardines. They were so delicious. Simply seasoned and cooked. For the main we had the prawn linguine with chilli and the mushroom risotto. Again, both dishes were delicious. A point to note - because the linguine has chilli in it; it might be a bit spicy for some - but it was just right for me. Reasonably priced. I would go back again.
The staff and food at Cucciolo are great. There is a warm atmosphere emitted from the staff. The garlic bread con mozzarella was really tasty and well balanced. I had the penne Arabiatta which although simple was full of flavour and was a decent size. I will return for sure.
It was ok nothing special food was average deserts menu dissapointing. I wouldn’t rush back. Service was very good felt a little cramped and shoved in the corner
My wife And I had two courses. There was a bit of a wait.....about 30 minutes between them which made us a little edgy that they had forgotten the second course. However all was well and it eventually. Turned up. Our main courses were veal and the house giant prawn pasta dishes. Both were excellent. Overall a good meal with good service.
We had a lovely pre theatre lunch at this beautifully traditional Italian trattoria. My Scaloppa Miilinese was perfectly served and my companion's linguine was, I am told, delicious. Our 5 year old's Marherita pizza was gobbled up and the service and ambience was quiet unobtrusive and family friendly. Prices were par for the area but good value. Very highly reccomended. I'll definitely return.
Good food in a traditional family run italian. Had 2 kids with us and well catered for. Good wine at reasonable price. Good informal, traditional, non-chain italian.
Great family run restaurant with hearty food and friendly service. We were there for a pre-theatre meal and received excellent attention without being hurried - the staff even sang Happy Birthday to my daughter.
Wonderful authentic Italian food right in the heart of Soho. The seafood risotto and bruschetta were perfect. Friendly, efficient service. We went for lunch and the restaurant wasn’t full but a lovely atmosphere.
Fantastic Italian food in an authentic atmosphere. Staff friendly and actually want to be at work ! Book to avoid waiting as the restaurant is smallish and popular.
Pre theatre dinner and I'm suspicious of long menus that the kitchen cannot possibly sustain. However, all our choices were delicious and the service was friendly and efficient.
The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Overall a great experience .. I would recommend it .. authentic Italian food and experience .. thank you
Perfect evening meal with family. The food here was fantastic, home-made frrsh food that tasted wonderful. Service was excellent and pricing made very good value for money. The supersized peppermill nade us chuckle! We would definitely return here.
Food was good, menu had a range of options and a couple of specials. Good value for central London. Service was very good, and they provided us with our requested table. Would definitely return when in Soho/theatre district.
Good food and pleasant service . Traditional Italian menu. Large portions. Very convenient for theatres . Need to book as very popular in the evenings
Great food again. Had set menu which is excellent value and not rushed. Excellent service. Met with friends and nice place to chat and good food. Would easily go again if in the area
My wife and I had lunch here on Tuesday, October 31st. Service and food were excellent. Friendly, family owned and run right in the middle of Soho.
Lovely authentic italian cuisine, the tomato bruschettas are amazing! Friendly welcoming staff and very reasonably priced too, 3 courses and a bottle of wine £60 for two.
Very nice, courteous and above all excellent food. We were, unfortunately, sat near the door which they keep open even on inclement nights but it didn't spoil our night out.
