Some reviewers dispute whether this is a truly Nepalese restaurant, but all I can say is that there were dishes and flavours on offer that I have not come across at "traditional" Indian restaurants. What is more, those dishes and flavours were excellently prepared and presented by the friendly staff - we loved the dumplings starter! Popadoms, two starters and mains, rice, coffee and a bottle of Prosecco for under £70 struck us as excellent value, and we will return... once they have moved to their new site in the Jewellery Quarter in September.

We've been several times and it's always been great food and fabulous service. There are really good vegetarian options and we can't wait to visit at the new location

Lovely food and attentive service. Plenty of interesting options for vegetarians and we particularly enjoyed the Nepalese dishes that had interesting spicing. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Very nice, good service, good food, with my friends we enjoy it. I would prefer if there was nepalese music, but I can forgive it as food was good ;-)

Good food, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. I would recommend the set menu for 2. More than enough and it could feed 4 comfortably too.

The food was very good but the service was quite slow. We were a table of 8 so maybe that’s understandable. The vegetarian set menu was amazing value and very tasty.

Nice venue. Average food, part of our meal came out stone cold and the waitress had the nerve to say it had just been made! Terrible service , very slow and waiters knew nothing about the menu! Overall disappointing I think the restaurant is living off its past successes. Would not go back!

Upon arrival, we were greated with a warm reception and drink orders were swiftly taken. We were seated promptly and given a menu to browse through. The selection of food is fantastic. Especially for a vwggie like myself. I ordered the vegetarian sharing platter, and was not disappointed. It contained a variety of options, and decinitely set the tone for the rest of the evening. Overal the service throughout the night was very efficient. I would definitely recommend this place.

Needed more staff for a busy valentines evening, I counted 3 people looking after every table! We waited a long time for the bill and potentially would have ordered more drinks but found it so difficult to find the attention of a waiter we gave up..

Food was good but service could have been little bit better. Also it is hard to find parking spaces other than that everything was ok.

Opted for the Executive lunch, great value for money I thought. The starters were lovely, but the mains were very disappointing. The Chicken Tiikka tasted and looked more like chicken Korma, with very little sauce, very bland and hardly any spice; which may have been drowned out by the dollop of cream on the side. Dried up Dhal not very tasty and very small portion of warm rice. Will not be returning.

One star given for the pleasant service only, however the food was horrible. The food was said to be a fusion between Chinese and Indian thus resulting in Nepalese cuisine. I find it hard to believe that this was a true representation of Nepalese food. It didn't even represent Chinese or Indian for that matter. Both mine and my partner's food was inedible due to the fact that it was so salty. We fed this back to the staff who were very apologetic and seemed genuine about it. We were given a drink on the house but still ended up paying full price for the final bill. The main courses were highly overpriced. We came here because of the 165 or so 'excellent' reviews on trip advisor compared with the 11 'terrible' and can't believe how there are so many good reviews. We must have come on a night when the chef was off or something. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and definitely won't be going back.

There's always a polite, professional warm welcome. The menu is extensive & therefore spoilt for choice. I tend to order my usual - Chicken Choyla for starters with Lamb Rogan Josh for mains. However, on this occasion the choice fell somewhat short of what I have experienced in the past - it was enjoyable, but not to the taste I'd come to expect. Close but not quite. Good night though, if somewhat disappointed.

First time of going and was very satisfied with the lunchtime menu and value for money. Service was friendly and helpful and very forebearing of our group sitting chatting after they had closed - no hurrying us out. Only criticism was that the room was not very warm so a couple of us kept our coats on throughout !

Food was very good. Service was a bit slowdespite therebeing only 2 other tables The main criticism was that the restaurant was cold. We were brought a heater but still found it uncomfortably cold. It impacted negatively on our experience. Despite having dated here several times before I would not recommend

Excellent service, friendly staff and food! I asked for something that was not on the menu and they made it - delicious. They also brought out a special dessert for my colleague, who was leaving our team. Highly recommended.

As usual the food in this restaurant was first class. What wasn't usual was the wait to be served - after an initial delivery of drinks it then took a further 50 minutes for someone to attend to take orders for food and this was only after I had approached a waitress to see if someone would attend us. It was Saturday evening at 7.30 so you would expect some delay compared with other times - However - There were 2 large parties in the restaurant to be fair and we could not criticise the staff once they had dealt with us but to wait for over an hour for some food to be served was excessive. It was I believe due to a lack of adequate numbers of serving staff sure this can be corrected by management.

Very friendly staff, ease of being shown to your seats, good choice on the menu, well spaced out restaurant some places you go to there are too many tables and cannot get past them with ease. We were a party of 6 and we all had good things to say

The food was amazing, but unfortunately they were extremely short staffed. It took us 2 and a half hours to have a starter and main course, and we had to go in search of someone to give an order or bring the bill several times. When we got our bill they had put a 10% service charge on the bill twice. We didn't see this at the time so ended up paying a 21% tip. Very unfortunate as the food was great and the staff were genuinely lovely.

We arrived at 6.30pm on a Friday night and were the only diners for at least an hour, when we left near 9pm there were several busy tables, but for such a large restaurant it seemed pretty empty especially for a pay day weekend. There were a few takeaways during that time, but we were surprised that it wasn't busier. The food was pretty good, we had poppadum's with the usual dips but it didn't come with the lime pickle so we had to ask for that. We had a little candle on our table and it would have been nice when we were seated for it to be lit but it wasn't so again, I asked for that. Our unused wine glasses were not taken from the table during the poppadum's or starter and only were removed when there wasn't enough room for the main. Overall, it think there lacked a bit of flair or experience with the waiting staff and this let it down a bit. The food was nice, nothing outstanding but nothing that disappointed. I would eat there again.

Didn't meet my expectation, food , service and ambience they were all ok. Nothing to shout about. We went there thinking, we would get authentic Nepalese food, apartfrom few starters we didn't see anything in Main. Compare to our last visit , this time definitely food and service let us down. Customers expect good food, good service and atmosphere and when we come out of the restaurant we should feel like to go back again!
