La Piazzetta - Petersfield

Very good food & friendly service. Would visit again sometime.

This was our second visit to La Piazzetta having moved to Petersfield last November. As per our first visit the food, service and value was excellent. The only negative comment we have was that it was extremely warm in the restaurant. We could see other diners in the restaurant feeling warm as well as they were fanning themselves with the menu. The waiter did open the front door when we mentioned this to him. However, the people near the front door didn't want the door open and closed it again virtually straight away. Maybe some air conditioning would help in future.

The quality of the food on this occasion was not up to the normal standard. The rack of lamb was much too fatty and the dish was only luke warm. The chicken dish however was fine. The caprese salad starter was also inferior - the tomatoes and mozzarella tasted rather old. This was a rather disappointing evening given previous excellent evenings

Food was good as was the service. Very quick at bringing the food out ... almost too quick as soon as starters were done mains came out... a break would have been nice

Absolutely fantastic meal. Beautiful food and amazing service. We haven’t been here in a few years but decided to go for a special Valentines meal. Everything was outstanding, as expected! Would highly recommend & will come again. The best restaurant in Petersfield, without a doubt.

Lovely food and great service! The 3 course set menu options were super and great value for money. I highly recommend, the ravioli starter, confit duck leg for a main dish and the chocolate cheese cake for dessert (This was the most amazing cheese cake I have ever eaten!).

Despite being full (as it was Valentines day) the staff were really friendly, helpful and very attentive. Our food and wine were excellent and good value for money, will definitely eat there again!

This really a great restaurant that knows how to create good food and keep customers happy with friendly service. The open kitchen is at the back of the dining area so you can see, hear and smell your food being prepared which facinates our grandson when we take him there. I have no hesitation in giving it top marks!

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful; the menu was amazing; portion sizes were perfect portion; the quliality and taste of the food absolutely SUPERB; prices were very reasonably; the ambience was most pleasant! We will return!

The food was delicious, good service and ambience. My wife and I have been coming to La Piazetta regularly for the past five years and have always found the food excellent.

We were placed in the corner near the kitchen and despite other tables not yet being sat, unwilling to move us. Less than helpful - shame as previous visits have been good

Very lovely food and restaurant. Only downside is as they are so busy (due to fab food) the customer service gets lost occasionally. No one came to check on us during our meal and no one asked about dessert. We had to grab someone to ask for the bill. But I would still return

We needed somewhere for a quick refuel on a joirney on Sunday night. Quick efficient friendly service and excellent food was just what we were looking for and was what we found.
