Atmosphere perfect for a dinner out with friends. Cozy with a bit of buzz. Delicious food. We all had steak and lived our starters too
The food was great, the service as well. But the level of noise is terrible especially if you want to have a nice diner for 2 and be able to chat without shouting.
Unique and well run restaurant with good food, service and ambience
Excellent tasty and good value Recomend for a good lunch
Lovely welcome and service, good food and good company, we had a lovely lunch.
Lovely restaurant beautiful ambience and amazing food x the staff were outstanding ! In all areas efficient & friendly would highly recommend x
We had the pre theatre menu. It arrived in good time, was very tasty and well priced.
Both starters were loverly, beef bourguignon too. The ribeye steak meal was hardly warm and served on a cold plate. This was disappointing and unsatisfying. Desert was nice.
Great food and service although it was a little chilly downstairs. Almost had to keep my coat on!
Cute little restaurant with good service. Unfortunately, the food was not good. Had the Nicoise salad, came with canned tuna and black olives. The scallops were mushy and tasteless. Would not recommend eating here.
We returned to Le Garrick for the pre-theatre menu and not disappointed. Still great tasting food, steak cooked exactly as asked and delicious, served by efficient and friendly staff.
I had the Boeuf Bourguignon; delicious. The staff welcome you in French and in the main, all speak the language as if you were there. It was like a trip across the channel without actually going. Magnifique!! Merci Michael
Great French cuisine with impeccable French hospitality. What's not to like? I can't wait to dine there again.
Great menu, good price and lovely service. We were upstairs and it was more casual than downstairs
As always, we enjoyed a lovely lunch at Le Garrick. Service was fantastic as was the food. We look forward to the next time. Thank you
Amazing experience and server was great, Amazing experience and server was great
Great service, great table, great food and great company. A wonderful evening. Thank you
Amazing restuarant, great food, great service, great ambience - highly recommend!
Great food. Great atmosphere, great service and great value. Will be back.
Slow arrival of food for pre theatre menu. Meant anxiety and rush. Food ok for the price.
Great food and lovely service. My favourite restaurant for a night out with friends
Great service, good quality classic French brasserie food and reasonable price. Scallops and Boeuf Bourguignon were excellent.
Very good helpful staff . A nice atmosphere. Good food
Efficient service but slightly average meal. Went for the set meal
Food consistently high standard great atmosphere and always well looked after our go to place at great price in London.
Lovely venue. Very central and unique dining area. Food was brilliant and service to match. Felt like a little piece of France.
It is one of the best restaurants in London - great atmosphere and the staff always go just that little bit more to ensure your visit is brilliant
Food is mediocre, but staff are nice and attentive. Won’t visit again though as not worth.
Delicious food, at a very fair price and a lovely atmosphere
I have been a regular customer at Le Garrick for nearly forty years. In that time so much has changed in the world but I am thankful that Le Garrick remains the same, with good honest French cuisine. There are not that many restaurants in London still trading after nearly 40 years, ask yourself why.
Had a really lovely meal. Delicious food. Love this restaurant!
we had a very tasty burger and the young man who served us was vwey polite
Great choice on menu. Friendly service. Fair pricing for London.
This is a wonderful traditional French restaurant set largely in cosy dramatic underground cellar rooms, well-decorated, warm and nicely lit. Most tables best suited to groups up to 4-6 people so I guess large office groups would choose elsewhere which us fine by me. Great for happy solo dining or couples. Food is faultless and good winelist. I enjoyed a tasty Voigner at very reasonable price. Excellent dining and lovely professionl staff
A wonderful friendly restaurant where we sat in the cool basement where the ambience was lovely, not too noisy. A great varied menu, gorgeous food and friendly efficient service. We definitely booked to come again. We were a table of six people ranging from youngsters in their twenties to adults in their 60s! Thank you to all for a great dining experience
Pre theatre dinner with friends, staff friendly, food lovely. Will be on our regular list now, great for a date night too.
Very good, friendly service. Reasonable prices, nice food. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Great service on a return visit, reasonably priced wine. Starters were lovely goats cheese salad, escargot with an extra fois gras as we couldn’t choose!! Mains were a good portion, sea bream and confit de canard, both delicious although the duck could have been warmer. We prefer to sit upstairs where it is brighter. Great authentic French food and atmosphere.
As usual great service and the food Love the place
Always an adventure and really appreciate the 'proper' French food. One of my favourite restaurants in London.
Loved this restaurant it had an amazing vibe and the food exceptional the staff attentive with helpful recommendations. Highly recommend
It was disappointing that we weren't able to order from the theatre menu because, although we were at our table by 6.30 we didn't order until 7pm, so had to order from the a la carte menu. There were six in our party and the increase in the final bill was rather a shock....such a shame...... we'd had such a lovely evening.
Great food as usual and the quirky downstairs seating gives it a unique atmosphere.
Very disappointed. The restaurant is over crowded, noisy and dark. We were shoe-horned into our table and practically in the laps of our neighbors. The food was mediocre at best. The wine pathetic. Don't know how they ever received any good ratings!
Service was great but price for small main quite pricey and the beef in the bourguinon was a little fatty… overall tho, a good experience
Wonderful meal, ambience, and staff were great. Thank you x
My favourite restaurant in London, always great food and service 😋
The place was bit quirky and interesting. It has very, very narrow access and we were worried about fire escape. The food was very average. The steak was the worst. It was a very thin cut. I don’t think anyone can cook medium rare. I wouldn’t visit again.
Food is always amazing and few places you can get 2 courses including steak for 18.00 as long as there before 7.00pm highly recommend consistently great food and friendly staff
Great food and wine at a reasonable price great service friendly staff what's not to like
