Very good, friendly service. Reasonable prices, nice food. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Great service on a return visit, reasonably priced wine. Starters were lovely goats cheese salad, escargot with an extra fois gras as we couldn’t choose!! Mains were a good portion, sea bream and confit de canard, both delicious although the duck could have been warmer. We prefer to sit upstairs where it is brighter. Great authentic French food and atmosphere.
As usual great service and the food Love the place
Always an adventure and really appreciate the 'proper' French food. One of my favourite restaurants in London.
Loved this restaurant it had an amazing vibe and the food exceptional the staff attentive with helpful recommendations. Highly recommend
It was disappointing that we weren't able to order from the theatre menu because, although we were at our table by 6.30 we didn't order until 7pm, so had to order from the a la carte menu. There were six in our party and the increase in the final bill was rather a shock....such a shame...... we'd had such a lovely evening.
Great food as usual and the quirky downstairs seating gives it a unique atmosphere.
Very disappointed. The restaurant is over crowded, noisy and dark. We were shoe-horned into our table and practically in the laps of our neighbors. The food was mediocre at best. The wine pathetic. Don't know how they ever received any good ratings!
Service was great but price for small main quite pricey and the beef in the bourguinon was a little fatty… overall tho, a good experience
Wonderful meal, ambience, and staff were great. Thank you x
My favourite restaurant in London, always great food and service 😋
The place was bit quirky and interesting. It has very, very narrow access and we were worried about fire escape. The food was very average. The steak was the worst. It was a very thin cut. I don’t think anyone can cook medium rare. I wouldn’t visit again.
Food is always amazing and few places you can get 2 courses including steak for 18.00 as long as there before 7.00pm highly recommend consistently great food and friendly staff
Great food and wine at a reasonable price great service friendly staff what's not to like
Very quick service and great food. Friendly and attentive staff.
I've been to this place several times, but it was a first visit for my friend. Dependable French food in a charming setting with efficient staff. No surprise this is such a landmark.
Good rustic food and friendly service. Just a bit patchy (one starter arriving well before my friends) otherwise good.
Great overall experience, amazing food, wine and service. Would definitely recommend.
Always a treat to visit the Garrick, and the food, wine, and service were great, and excellent value for the pre theatre menu. Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience with other diners. We were seated between two pairs of Americans who had typically loud and intrusive voices. Not a problem, they were having fun enjoying our city and live and let live etc. until one of the men had the absolute cheek to ask one of our group to keep his voice down as it "carried". It can get loud down in the cosy basement, so maybe ask for a quiet table if that bothers you - and discreetly ask the waiter to move you if you end up near someone bothersomely noisy.
Fantastic value for a delicious pre-theatre meal. Service was great and we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommended.
This was my third visit to this restaurant and each time I go I order the same food! This time however I felt the mussels and pomme frites were not as good as they have been previously.
Great choice of food and great value with excellent service.
Great food and service from knowledgeable people. Would recommend unreservedly.
typical west end tourist service don't care if your don't go again
Great little find! Will definitely visit again when I am next in Covent Garden
never disappoints, fitted us in even though I made a error with the reservation.
Great little restaurant serving a range of delicious dishes with a good range of drinks to accompany at reasonable prices.
Close to our theatre, downstairs was cosy and warm with good service and recommendations
Lovely food , good service . Just disappointed I d booked weeks ahead but still had to ask to sit downstairs and put on a table that was very awkwardly placed .
Great service, lovely people and very French food. A perfect evening!
Lovely pre theatre lunch with family and friends. French onion soup as good as ever. Guinea fowl special was spectacular. Great service and friendly staff. Always look forward to a meal here.
Fantastic food, lovely staff , would definitely go back there
We requested a table due to hearing problems, and no stairs. Luckily we were going to be seated upstairs in a perfect spot but the table had been given to drinkers. We had to take 2nd best right by the kitchen door. Our waitress was very sympathetic and finally moved us over when the drinkers had gone. The food was very mediocre. Dry escargots, no parsley butter. Risotto was not arborrio rice but long grain with a sauce. Saving grace was the pot au chocolate. Nice wine, accommodating waitress but otherwise disappointing and overpriced for the standard of food.
Not the best visit. The service was slow and unattentive. Food quality not up to par. Bourginon was very watery.
We were a group of six and really enjoyed the whole experience at Le Garrick
A perfect pre-theatre place to go with consistently good food and service.
I forgot how charming this place is. The food was gorgeous- I had the Beef Bourginon, and it was perfect on a cold day! It is a bit crammed but I have to say it’s part of the charm and so glad it’s not a chain where it’s lots of loud music, bright lights, kids running around etc, there are plenty of restaurants like that in Covent Garden for that. Lovely authentic feel. Please never change Le Garrick .
Très bon accueil et belle qualité des plats Belle ambiance
For central London we thought it was excellent value. Good staff Good Atmophere
It was quite decent. Excellent service and great food to eat.
Great venue for authentic French cooking at a reasonable price in a cosy environment.
An ideal restaurant to have a pre theatre meal. Would definitely recommend!
Fantastic time. Great food, great service and the team there were super friendly. Highly recommended.
French classics at a reasonable price in Covent Garden, with professional and charming service. Four of us each had three courses for lunch, and nothing was less than delicious.
Le Garrick made our evening unforgettable. We received excellent service, tasty and well presented food and a decent wine list. We will definitely be back!
charming bistro with affordable prices. You definitely should make a reservation, though. It was full and they were turning away anyone without a reservation
Good welcome , friendly staff, authentic French cuisine, served on a very timely manner
The staff was friendly and accommodating, The wine that the waitress recommended was delicious. The food was very good. I recommend the fondue.
A regular haunt for our family in the West End; running early, no problem. Friendly staff, good food, fairly priced and slightly cramped. Not too much of an issue. We will return soon.
Great lunch. Great atmosphere. Good food. Good wine. Great service. Thank you.
