Le Mistral - Derbyshire

Lovely Resturant....pleasant staff.....good food......requested a nice table downstairs for a birthday celebration and we weren't disappointed ...we will be returning again in the near future.

An excellent find. Authentic French Bistro almost on the doorstep. Lovely atmosphere and a small but imaginative menu. I would recommend Le Mistral to anyone

Excellent service, venue, ambiance, food and wine at reasonable prices! Been several times before all just as good. Guests also enjoyed it to the full.

This is the second time we have eaten here and have enjoyed both experiences. The food is excellent and is good value. The staff are helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going back.

Food was lovely, service friendly and efficient. Prices were very reasonable - downstairs in the vault was very cosy and cute. We had an excellent meal.

Good food, good atmosphere, good service. One comment, the toilets could do with a renovation, they looked very tired and spoilt the restaurant. This did not distract from my enjoyment though, but they should be looked at asap?

Greeted with a smile and a drink at the bar. The food was absolutely fantastic and was clearly all freshly cooked. Wonderful, friendly service and atmosphere all evening.

Lovely venue, lovely food, lovely staff. First visit.....but will definitely go again. Liked the quirky table arrangements. ..little rooms and alcoves. Lots of things on the menu I would like to try!

Really nice food but very slow service throughout ( it was Mother's Day) at one point I nearly went to find a member of staff to order dessert!

Very good main courses (desserts ok) and service was friendly and efficient. I would definitely come again and try the other dishes I was trying to decide between.

Good food and service. Chairs could do with replacing - I sat on a leather type one that you could feel the lumps and bumps of springs through!

Our fIrst time at Le MIstral. The food was very good, the service polite and the atmosphere warm. We hope to be back again soon.

Really good menu, nice variety of food, something for everybody, empty plates all round from my party, I felt the staff could have been a little more attentive otherwise couldn't fault.

Lovely evening, great food, excellent service. Have visited many times and love the ambiance of the place. Wirksworth is a little gem, with this great little restaurant.

My wife and I went for an evening meal there was nothing wrong with the food at all and the staff were pleasant although a little unattentative we only saw them to bring the courses and take them away not during to see if we were okay or needed anything else. In our opinion the seafood chowder was overpriced £16.50 and contained not enough fish and a lot of potatoes which was not in the description because of this we ordered a portion of sauté potatoes which was not eaten and wasted this was removed from the bill at our request. In summary the dining experience was not up to our expectations

Lovely atmosphere,clean,staff friendly and courteous.Food was exceptionally good.there was no pressure to hurry to vacate your table. All in all a very pleasent evening was had by all of our party.

A very enjoyable evening with friends from out of Wirksworth. They liked the atmosphere and the friendly, efficient staff. Very good menu, and quality cooking.

As always, excellent food, and really good staff. No rush no hassle. The vegetarian tasting menu is just fantastic! We love the whole laid back, calm experience with brilliant food and wine.
