Lokkanta Meze & Barbeque

Visited here on Friday 9th December for dinner. What an amazing place. Food was incredible, all cooked fresh on indoor BBQ. Definitely worth a visit.

Loads of freebies combined with great flavours, for a ridiculously low price made this an incredible find. Everyone in the party said they will be back!

Delicious food and friendly and helpful staff. We had the cold meze selection, which was excellent, and a couple of dishes from the mangal, which again were delicious. After the main course we were given a couple of pieces of baklava and a cup of Turkish coffee on the house, which we thought was really generous. The person who served us could not have been more friendly or helpful. We will certainly go back there.

Great meal with a free desert (we didn't have the free meze so I think this was in its place) would go again for sure.

Did not realise it was a cafe style place and not a proper restaurant. That should be made clear Food was excellent but it is a cafe

Delicious food. Great service- my favourite Turkish place for take out or dine in. Casual atmosphere. Food is fresh as cooked perfectly. Bulgar is so tasty!

Lovely selection of meats innthe special platter complementrd well with the complimentary meze starter. Thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the turkish beer. Will happily visit again.

Service was friendly, off course food was fantastic. It was a second time visit, in this time with my friend. They also said it is a nice meal.

The food quality was very good and the prices are reasonable. The portion of the mix grill we had was enough for two people. They also offered us turkish tea and delight in the end!

It's not plush here but the food is delicious and the waiting staff are so kind and accommodating. It's great value for money and it's BYO too, with supermarkets in 1 min to make those purchases. I can only say one thing; GO THERE!

Excellent! We booked for dinner but changed it to lunch. Lovely waitress, so pleasant and helpful. The starter was terrific. The main was delicious, freshly cooked tender kebabs, faultless! We were given baklava and Turkish delight which was a lovely. Very reasonable price as well. Authentic Turkish music too! Great atmosphere and ambiance! We will definitely go there again. Thanks Lokkanta Meze & Barbeque...great!!!

Good food at a good price. If you want wine you can bring your own. I would recommend this restaurant if you like barbecued meat.

Faultless food, complementary mini appetiser and dessert, very helpful waitress, Barbara. Would definitely go again if in the area. Interior is quite basic, more like a cafe than a restaurant if that matters.

As the waiter said, "small place, big flavor" one of the best meals I had in London. Come hungry and order a lot. Can't recommend enough.

Fantastic place - very fresh food, very tasty and (bonus) extremely good value. Slightly nearer to a bistro style than a full restaurant but add in friendly staff and I will be back!

Was not what I expected, so we left before eating. Sorry to go so soon but perhaps better after a night out. Easy to find though.

Couldn't fault in anyway..... Totally recommend for excellent food and reasonable prices.. Clean and smart restaurant with happy staff who give excellent service... What a find!!!

Very pleasant meal! We had grilled chicken. It is so well flavored from inside to outside and we enjoyed it very much. Also enjoyed free mezes, bread and a special dessert. Extremely impressive. Definitely recommend it.

Great food and attentive staff, with very reasonable prices. Love that it's not licensed so you can bring your own wine and loads of places to buy wine nearby.

Charming restaurant. Great food and ample servings. The service by the owner, who was most gracious, and staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely a must visit.

Fantastic Turkish BBQ! Generous and very reasonably proved. Pity that it is not licenced but I think BYO is OK. Will defo be back next time that I'm in London!

Good ! Good service , good food , good and simple atmosphere. The waiteress was very helpfull also in selecting the plate to order , since we were not used to Turkish food .

Incredible- food and service . Lovely staff - outstanding food - amazing value. Don't bother with more expensive venues - no need. Also don't be put off by exterior that looks like a kebab takeaway- it isn't

Delicious food! Good service and a very friendly atmosphere. No wine, but we bought a bottle across the road, which was then served to us during the meal, so that wasn't a problem. We'll definitely return!

Fantastic place - very welcoming indeed. I eat at a lot of Turkish establishments and this one is right up there. Their Beyti kebab in particular is fab

Really delicious food and excellent service, and being able to take your own wine was great. The chicken shish was especially good, as was the bread.

We booked a table for 6. Arrived slightly late, however our table was reserved. The foof was full of flavour and staff were very helpful. Good food, great service mashaaAllah!

Great menu selection, plenty of variety. The food and service were brilliant. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning next time we are nearby.

Great food with delicious meat and great service. Not very cosy and it's a take away so there were people running in and out all the time. And no wine list.

We had a fabulous meal at Lokkanta Meze & Barbeque. Staff were really friendly and it had a great atmosphere. I love the bread and dips they gave us and the lamb chops were amazing I can't wait to go back! With BYO it's a great value night out and I highly recommend

Excellent experience. Only thing was we needed another round of drinks. Apart from that the food was outstanding and came to our table very quickly

First visit here and it won't be our last! Special offer gave us four taster-size meze starters and lavash bread free when ordering any main course. We had the special mixed grill which was perfectly cooked and succulent. Great staff, prices and location.

The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly enough and the restaurant was clean and friendly. I would definitely return again, a very good meal and inexpensive.

Very nice restaurant. Simple décor, good food, friendly service. Not quite so easy to get to if you don't live locally. but would definitely go back again.
