Loks Bar & Kitchen

Hi I had booked a table at the restaurant for Saturday 28th april as it was my anniversary. We arrived early and asked for an earlier sloth which the restaurant was able to accommodate. We had a very good meal and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Mrs McCarney

Booked Loks for a catch up with a friend. It was ideal. Nice atmosphere but not noisy. Attentive staff, great service and a lovely meal. Good menu and wine list with reasonable prices. Lovely evening.

Excellent meal, beautifully presented and very generous portions. Really love the decor and the background music - not too loud. Staff very attentive. Highly recommend Loks.

Nice place inside. Service very good. Starters very nice. My main meal of Chicken was a bit dry. My Wife's beef was a bit tough. We shared a sweet, which was nice.

Friendly service staff. Comprehensive menu to choose from. A couple of specials to choose from too. Loks has a decent wine list to choose from. Our food was served quickly. It was really nice. We spent a relaxing few hours enjoying the dining experience.

I was not very impressed with my main course. Black pudding salad. The black pudding was over cooked and just crumbled. The salad was unimpressive. Just overall poor standard.

Good Food Good Service value for money. Very pleasant environment. Friendly staff everything clean. The facilities varied from bar to function suite and restaurant. Would certainly use again

Service was good starters were lovely but main course let it down as the beef was tough and could not be eaten by myself and my partner

Visited this restaurant with my disabled father and sister. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Service was excellent and so was the food. Hope to be back soon.

I have been several time before and I went with 2 girls who had never been before, had a lovely night and looking forward to the new restaurant opening in Clarkston 😊

Lots of choice and most of the staff were very friendly. Good sized portions, although a sauce with the fish would have been nice, we will be back.

Food was excellent- cullin skink is a good eatbaddition to the menu and was super! Main course could maybe have been hotter but tasty all round. Service grand

Booking was very easy . We were welcomed by a pleasant member of staff. Orders were taken quickly and our freshly cooked meal was very enjoyable. Lok's is restaurant we frequent and it has never failed to please.

Great menu with choices to suit everyone, Gluten Free and Dairy options too..Good Service and fine quailiy food at reasonable prices. Looking forward to next visit.

Beautiful food, lovely ambience and nice staff. Have dined here on a couple of occasions and cannot rate it highly enough. The food is always so tasty and fresh.

Good food and friendly staff. Not cheap for the type of place it is. I feel they should offer pre theatre on a Friday evening as it is just a local south side venue.

excellent service. my 86 year old Aunt ordered Fish and Chips from the main menu. The waiter very kindly told her that should could get a pensioners fish tea with bread and butter and it would also be cheaper. I really appreciated this and will definitely be back

Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was very good. The main downside was that out of 2 courses ordered for 2 people,they didn't have 3 of the things that we ordered. All sold out -- by 7.30pm ! What we did have though was lovely with our main courses being the lamb and the bavette of beef. Would go back though.

A great Sunday lunch. The roast beef was rare, tender and tasty. Wonderful value.

Our third or fourth time here. Everyone the food has been absolutely faultless. Really tasty and something for everyone. Highly recommend for special occasions. Staff were lovely, seemed like they were maybe a a bit short on staff..could've done with one more, but maybe they were just a bit busier than expected. But we weren't in a rush so was excellent meal. Thanks Loks x

Really great food with a huge variety and optional foods available. Love the senior meal idea which makes me want to bring my parents here for their favourite meal all the time .

Excellent value and superb service. Staff very attentive. We had the Senior Citizens lunch of fish and chips for only £6.95. Will definitely be back.

Good food - above the usual normal pub fare in the area. Excellent service and a busy lively restaurant. Would recommend it as a good local eaterie.

Overall had a great time at Loks. The food was lovely and the service excellent. My good lady loved the cocktails too. No complaints here.

The Sunday Roast is THE best beef I have ever eaten. Didnt need a fork. Melt in the mouth like butter. Will be back next Sunday!

Great restaurant, food is tasty, selection is wonderful and the service is fast. Drinks selection is huge, with a great eclectic cocktail menu and vast selection of beers. Staff are friendly and always give the best service,great for a date night or family dinner.

Service good. Would ask next time not to have a window seat Felt it cold sitting and air con draught on my neck. Went through to bar for drink after but was a really noisy crowd in with a lot of bad lanugage. So spoilt by that.

Customer service from the staff was excellent. They showed flexibility and humour. Also, both food and wine menus were extensive and varied. The atmosphere was also very pleasant.
