Excellent service and friendly staff. Our meal was lovely and well presented. I would certainly recomment this bar and restaurant. Good choice of dishes for Sunday lunch offer

Excellent , been a few times since it opened steadily getting better and. better not the cheapest but not overpriced either some good bottled beers

Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Service is friendly and helpful. Lovely restraint with good affordable evening menu. Supplement on fillet steak is well worth it, cooked to perfection.

I have been to Loks for something to eat 3 times now and each time I haven't really enjoyed my meal. The staff are great though

Restaurant and staff terrific. Food excellent most enjoyable only one complaint lettice not cleaned properly said to waitress and she dealt with it and apologised was only a small piece of lettice did not stop us enjoying our lunch and will definately be back

Food was good, service was friendly but a bit slow, there was a huge family table celebrating a birthday and they were very noisy so we couldn't hear ourselves speak until they left Other than that it was good

Another lovely meal at Loks. Staff friendly and attentive. Great value for money, especially lunch and dinner special menus. Would highly recommend. Will be back soon.

Staff were really friendly and the food was great. Food was prepared quickly and was reasonably priced. The staff brought out the birthday cake for my dad singing and he was really chuffed.

Lok bar and restaurant always offers a lovely Sunday lunch..prices are great value, staff are very accommodating...I have lost count the times I have had meals in the Lok...

Food was great but service was disinterested and we sat with out soaking jackets next to us for the whole meal despite the table seated after us (by maitre'd) being asked if they'd like theirs taken away. Waiting staff were quite abrupt, not sure if there was an underlying issue because last time we were in it was great!

Good food and good service. Had the set dinner menu and would definitely return. My son had the kids menu and he loved it, he is normally very fussy but he said his burger was delicious.

overall the meal was lovely,but my mother had asked for potatoes without butter and she got potatoes covered in butter which she couldn,t eat. apart from this meal was excellent.

Food was not too bad although vegetables were cold. Complained to waitress and was asked "what do I want to do about it?" The overall waitress service was very poor and does not lead to a great overall experience.

Food tasted cheap. Chicken in panko bread crumbs was dry and the burger tasted rubbery. For an evening set menu it was too expensive £15.95 for 2 courses especially when the food tasted cheap. I will not be going back again.

Food, service and surroundings fandabulous. This is definitely one of my favourite eating places at present. The sticky toffee pudding was yummy scrummy. Wil definitely be back.

Good food, however there wasn't a lot on the plate for the veggie option. Staff were friendly, place was lively, overall we had a good time.

The food is lovely here however the batter on the fish was very heavy. A lighter batter would be so much better for this dish.

Booked this restaurant on a recommendation from friends I'm glad I did. Great food at great prices, staff where friendly and efficient, will definitely go back.

Lovely Mothers Day menu. Attentive service and pleasant waiters. We had a great get together and the sea bass and roast of the day were faultless..

As always, great food served by very friendly Staff. Service was a bit sluggish but it was the evening of a very long and hot Mothers Day and the Staff could be forgiven for being a bit run off their feet. Corner table in the window felt a bit out of things as we usually sit in one of the really nice booths in the main part of the room. Yet again forgivable due to the number of big parties in on this particular evening. Overall a great value meal with a fantastic 3 course menu plus drink for £20. Can't argue with that. Best small restaurant in the area. Check it out.

The food was excellent as always and the service was too. At 3.53pm we were asked if we wanted coffee/tea to which we replied no and then were told we have this table booked out again from 4pm! We got bill to notice we had been overcharged and this was rectified after a few minutes. I was annoyed that I wasn't told about 1.5 hour turn around when I originally booked table in Jan and felt rushed.

Average restaurant, wouldn't go out of my way to go back. Young staff who were trying. The food was unimaginative and served a little cool.

This was our second visit to this lovely restaurant before attending an event at Hampden. We had an excellent experience once again and will definitely return :)

Never disappoints. Food lovely and get ambiance. Service a little slow but there was an 80th celebration and a private function so that might explain the service. Didn't distract from our enjoyment.

Excellent service. Varied menu and all dishes cooked to order. Best of all HOT PLATEtS . Was there for lunch but will certainly be back to try their dinner menu.

Had lunch today enjoying prawn cocktail, black pudding and poached egg and chicken liver pâté for starters all excellent, followed by roasted beetroot and feta cheese salad, beef bourginon and roast chicken with spinach and dauphinois potatoes, enjoyed by everyone, today was the best meal I've had at Lok and service was excellent and friendly. Also they do a good gluten free menu which was a major plus for my daughter!

I have dined in loks many times day and evening.. the ambiance of the restaurant and bar is to be recommended , food, drink. , service all of the highest standard .. The decor excels many city centre establishments ..

Took advantage of £20 3 course menu. Food fab great selection and the service was great. Excellent value for money. Decor lovely.Will be back again 😆.
