Meat was gorgeous and service was great. Would recommend highly!

Only 1 thing to say. Im someone who likes very well done steak, and menu description for well done states 'no pink' but unfortunately all our steaks were pink throughout. But other than that, excellent food and service. Will definitely be back and recommend.

Fantastic food and atmosphere brilliant service staff friendly all round

When we arrived we were seated at a table and then had to move, we were also offered deserts before we had even been given our mains. The staff seemed a little confused and unsure what they were doing, would completely understand if they were busy and rushed off their feet but it was extremely quiet. The service was poor.

Table a bit small when we turned up but asked if we could be moved to a bigger one and the waiter happily obliged. Great service, always given with a smile. Haven’t been here since it was refurbished, food even better than before, steaks to die for. Well done guys and keep up the good work!

Absolutely excellent dinner! The king prawn starter and our steak mains were succulent and tasty! We chose a bottle of Argentinian Malbec, which complimented splendidly! Lovely vibrant atmosphere in the restaurant and friendly staff. My only small gripe was that they had dessert wine on the menu but none in stock. We had to add ask for finger bowls and when they arrived they contained cold water! But would highly recommend!

Been to this restaurant a few time. Great place with great atmosphere. The staff are friendly, obliging and courteous. The food is totally amazing too!!

Newly reopened after refurbishment the whole restaurant feels larger. The food was superb everyone had perfectly steaks cooked to their individual preferences. My wife wanted to try this restaurant for her 60th Birthday we were not disappointed. Yes we will be returning soon.

Waited over 25 minutes for starters,had to ask us if we had got them! No fillet steaks left at 7 30. Mains never arrived all at once. And waited nearly 15 minutes to pay the bill while the owner had friends in who were served very promptly and were being fussed over

Being an Edinburgh resident - I had known about the existence of Los Argentinos for a long time, however, due to it being slightly of the beaten track I had always dismissed this as an eating option in favour of establishments in the city centre. Having sampled food in similar places around George Street and the like, at ridiculous prices, this is every bit as good, better even, than anything I’ve had elsewhere and I wish we had gone here before now ! All our meals were well presented, the cuts of meat were first class quality and succulent in the eating. The waiting staff were attentive, helpful, friendly and we received excellent service - we will definitely return again soon !

Nachos came 5-10 mins before dips (which are just supermarket squeeze bottle sauces) so by the time the dips arrived nachos were cold as for some reason they had the air-con on in Scottish Winter. Waited 15-20 mins between finishing our starter and receiving our main course. 250g sirloin steak wasn’t rested and bled all over the plate. Blue cheese hollandaise sauce was completely split. Chips came out cold and when we asked for new ones they (assumingly) just threw them back in the fryer as when they arrived the second time they were almost hollow from being overcooked. No one checked on us for the entire meal even after mentioning the chips. Once our plates were collected we told our server our food was disappointing and asked for the bill. We waited another 45 minutes before having to ask for the bill again. Telling the manager/owner about our experience, he said they had just reopened, and they’re getting used to the systems (not sure what that meant) so he would take chips off the bill. (Bearing in mind chips come free with the steak). I said that wasn’t good enough but I would talk to my S.O. AAnd we’ll figure something out. Our server came to our table and upon hearing our experience told us not to worry about the bill. The manager/owner walked past and casually said “take the drinks off” before realising our server was telling us not to worry. This made the manager/owner so angry with his staff and we left before anything more developed.

Excellent steaks - best ever. Excellent friendly service. Will be back again.
