Los Argentinos

myself and my wife visited here on saturday and had the best steaks ever, my wife had fillet and i had rib eye which were cooked perfectly and the staff could not be more helpful. we cant wait to visit again.

The steaks were great, the beef kebab not quite so great! Waiting staff were very good and had no problems getting drinks or bill ordered.

Great welcome. Great food. Great service. The overall experience of this eatery was very pleasant. My only criticism was the lighting could be improved and the decor could do with a little sprucing up.

It was a little drafty near the door, but when a table further inside became available we were asked if we wanted to move and it was better there. The food was excellent and good value. Friendly service.

Food was excellent, as was the wine. Unfortunately this place was let down by having nowhere to hang a coat, poor service and a bad smell from the toilets on the way in. Could be so much better as the food was great.

Delicious as usual.. can’t fault this place.. friendly staff and the steak is perfection. Generous portions for reasonable prices. The onion relish is incredibly tasty.. well done to them

First visit and food and service was great. Reasonably priced too. Our steaks were fab and sticky toffee pudding was lovely. Will definitely be back soon

Usual excellent food served quickly and efficiently. Yes there are places with a more urbane atmosphere and more extensive/expensive wine lists, but for a steak meal with the family on a Saturday night, Los Argentinos is hard to beat.

Simple food but exquisite taste. This is a charming restaurant though a little frayed round the edges it delivered on service and flavours. Give it a go.

the ease of using this app to make a reservation was amazing. i am from canada, was in edinburgh on my honeymoon, staying with family. i wanted to take them out to thank them for their hospitality. so booking at Los Argentinos (one of their favorite places) was a no brainer. and let me just say..this restaurant is amazing, the food and the service from starters to dessert was top notch. the wait staff were attentive and quick. the food..delicious. i would definitely return here for more. as a thanks for the family who put us up. i gave them enough to return here for a special dinner just for them.

Restaurant could do with a face lift but the food was outstanding. Friendly service which is not over the top. Reasonably priced. The large steaks are indeed large and for only £20 for the sirloin.

Very tasty food at affordable price, big portions and nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly. We really enjoy having dinner at Los Argentinos while listening latin music. Hghly recommended.

Heaven for any steak lovers - great cut and size of meat - cooked brilliantly! Sauces were a perfect accompaniment too. Service was good too.

i thought I would wife for a nice meal we ordered prawn starter chorizo sausage starter 2 steaks with peppercorn sauce then brought prawn starter for me and a steak for wife totally forgot about her starter poor service and the steaks weren’t cooked properly very disappointed

Superb steaks cooked exactly as requested. Friendly, attentive service and good value for money. Sea bream was well cooked, but not as good as the Argentinian beef. House Malbec went well with the meat and side dishes were decent sizes. All in all a very pleasant experience and will be back in the future.

If you want to eat real good steaks in Edinburgh, it is advisable to search for this Restaurant. A fex footsteps from South Bridge are worth it. Definitly one of the best Steaks I (48) ever had. Thank You!

The quality from the food was good. We had two rump steaks and fries. The service was ok. Priced in the middle range. We can recommend this locally.

The restaurant is plain, comfortable and very friendly. The starters are ok but the steaks are what make this place special. Extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. I haven’t had a sweet yet as I am too full to eat one. I have been several times and will continue to go back. Great value

Fantastic steaks cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do more when my wife wanted her steak cooked for slightly longer. Brought it back 5 mins later one happy wife. It looks like they are expanding so they must be doing something right

Absolutely fantastic food with a really friendly service. Our first time in the restaurant and we really enjoyed it. The chorizo sausage was tasty and the steaks were cooked to perfection. We will definitely return to low argentinos in the future!

We have visited a good number of times and again weren't disappointed. This time however, we have dropped one mark on the rating as the fillet was butterflied and so therefore overcooked.

Great place but not for vegans obviously!! The steaks are absolutely to die for here. Highly recommendeded for carnivores. This place is very good value for money and the house red-a Malbec- goes down a treat!

The Food was very delicious and the staff are all polite and very enthusiastic. Very good atmosphere in the restaurant and I cannot wait to return.

Beautiful well cooked steak. Service very good would definitely recommend. This was an anniversary meal but we will definitely go back before our next anniversary.

Great steak and wine and really good value. The chimichurri was excellent too with both the steak and the chips. Restaurant was quite quiet being a Monday but it didn't bother us. Pleasant and attentive service. Highly recommended

Only one server on a very busy monday night. Food swift and delicious, just sorry we missed the sticky toffee pudding. We will be back

Vorspeise: Empanadas: der Teig der „empanadas“ hatte absolut nichts mit Argentinischen Empanadas zu tun! Viel zu dick, geschmacklos! Eine Enttäuschung! Hauptgang: Filet mit Grillgemüse und Ofenkartoffel mit Quark: das filet hatte ich medium bestellt, dieses kam jedoch komplett durchgebraten auf den Tisch! Es war so trocken, dass ich es mit Soße essen musste! Schade! Insgesamt war ich sehr enttäuscht! Das Restaurant soll argentinisch sein und wird aber von keinen Argentiniern bewirtet sondern von Indern. Ist definitiv keinen Besuch wert!

Amazing meal. My plate was spotlessly clean when I was finished. The steaks here are wonderfully tender and cooked to perfection. How they keep the prices so reasonable I don't know.

Excellent service, great food, fabulous prices, we have been before and the portions are more than generous, well worth a visit I recommend Los Argentinos, enjoy your meal, lovely friendly staff x
