we had not realized it was only the Christmas menu, but everything was lovely, the staff and food were very good, would highly recommend it

The food and ambience was excellent the only downside was that they were a little slow bringing the meal for one of our party but generally very enjoyable experience

Great prawn starter and good steak. Food was really good. I have been to Madisons previously and always had a good meal. Just feel the place is lacking in character/ambience.

The staf were lovely, but afraid the food was just average. I wouldn't say it was worth £20 per head. Didn't expect to get frozen cubed watery veg from a packet!

The food was gorgeous, presented well & very tasty. The ambience of the restaurant was relaxed & friendly. The service was excellent. It was well worth the money. We had a great time.

We dined here on Saturday 26th November (5 people). The restaurant was quite full and we had to go in the back room, this was ok but we would have preferred to be in the main part for the atmosphere. The food was lovely, well presented and well served. The staff were excellent, only complaint (a very tiny one) would be the wait for the coffees as we were in a queue for the machine. Highly recommend Madisons in Rochdale.

Welcoming staff, easy booking procedure and confirmation, attractive and comfortable location, seasonal ambiance with 'quality' crackers, efficient table service and meals which were prepared to a uniformly high standard . No hesitation in recommending Madison's to friends. Also appreciated cloakroom facility and prompt taxi booking. First class.

Fab food and service. Also nice to see the menu has changed since I last visited. the three theee courses for 20.95 is excellent value.

Some of the food was very nice however the sirloin steaks were tough and very fatty we didn't think they were sirloins and the drinks very overpriced we won't be going again unfortunately it seems to have gone downhill

The food was lovely. Was very good value for money. Staff were very friendly. I would definitely go again. Parking outside was a bit tight but managed to get a space

Had a wonderful meal last night at Madison's , nothing too much trouble , good menu choice there was 6 of us who all had different meals and everyone enjoyed their meal . Only one little gripe was I had put a request on my booking for a circular table but we were given rectangle one . When I mentioned this we were changed immediately to a circular one which was appreciated .

We went for Sunday lunch. Food excellent. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff. It was also very good value for money; two courses, two drinks and two coffees for just over £40. First time there but will go again.

Good Food, good service, good ambience, good prices, what more could you ask. The staff were friendly and attentive, so a really pleasant evening, as usual.

Food and service excellent but a little expensive for Sunday lunch (£110 for 4 inc tip). Variety and choice of food on menu very good.

Excellent food and friendly staff.Although there were 8 in our party we weren't rushed and everyone ate everything on their plates,always a good sign.Only downside was struggling to park the car as the car park is small

very nice meal, staff very pleasant,i have been eating here for many years, you must give it a try. generous portions, food hot and consistently tasty.

Very good service, good venue, food was lovely especially the starter. Good value for the money. I would recommend the goat cheese pancake for starters.

The atmosphere and service was as good as always no critism there. The only thing I would like to see is perhaps a change in the lunchtime menu although food is excellent would like to see something different.

Friendly staff,pleasant surrounding,excellent food. It was our first visit and we will definitely go again,I don't think you can beat £15.95 for a three course meal for the quality of food served

This is a restaurant I frequent regularly with friends,mainly for Lunch.We all find the menu choices,quality of food and service very good,and I will continue to use.

Great food as always lovely atmosphere you are never rushed even managed to catch up with friends who were there as well. All in all a great evening.

Excellent visit! Came here for the first time for my dad's birthday. Staff excellent, food amazing, surroundings lovely! Couldn't fault it and will return again!

food was great, surroundings shabby, needs a good lick of paint and the toilets smell. Prices not too bad and big choice. fairy consistent when you visit.

The food was lovely but the restaurant had no atmosphere . Friendly staff and plenty to choose from on the menu. Convenient location from the town centre

Food was very good but there was no ambience in the place. It was dull and dowdy with no background music for this train we will not return .

Our welcome felt cold, 'Have we booked?' Felt more important than hello with a smile. Food was nice although would have been better if the lamb was cooked to our liking but that wasn't offered when ordering. I didn't realise it was a 3 course meal (I don't do starters or desserts) so the price paid wasn't worth it for us.

6 family members attended for a get together. Really enjoyed our visit. Menu changed and one member of party would have liked the belly pork but not on the menu. Good food. Nice atmosphere , we were sat in the conservatory. Friendly staff.

Restaurant has set price menu with some steaks having a small supplement. Great steaks, fillet and ribeye. Delicious chips. Staff very friendly. Mocha coffee is the nicest I've ever had.

The best steak I've had in a long time, served with some wonderful freshly fried chips and creamy peppercorn sauce. Too full for a dessert, though neighbouring table had a fantastic looking chocolate sundae. Will be going back to this hospitable place
