Great nachos, really tasty pizza (that you could pick up without topping sliding off!). Great location for people watching along Grassmarket.

The gluten free base was the best we've ever had. Very fluffy and available on a 12" which is almost unheard of! Toppings were plentiful too. Service was fab, very attentive staff. Part of our order was taken wrong, staff couldn't have been more apologetic and immediately offered the meal (which was only 5 minutes later than the others) for free. Thanks Mamma's American Pizza. We will return. 🙂

Total shocker. Shown to seat then ignored for 15 minutes. Eventually got a drink. A warm pinot grigio and a tepid £4.50 bottle of peroni.(330ml). Taking the pish! Abandoned ship soon after. Avoid at all costs.

Great, professional service. Very courteous and friendly, as always. Great food and great portions. All current Covid19 restrictions in force and explained. Best to book before you visit as it can get really busy.

Excellent customer service, very friendly and attentive. Pizza was great, we chose BB King and Club Med, both had plenty of toppings and were cooked perfectly. Overall we had a lovely dining experience and would recommend and visit again.

We arrived in a downpour and had booked an outside table and were told by the supervisor it was one of the ones without an umbrella. however he kindly re-arranged his seating plan and we got a seat right by the outside of restaurant that had the full awning cover. Couldn't have been more delighted. Thank you

The room was cold as the doors and windows were open. The waiter closed the door on request, but my elderly mum and dad were constantly cold. I have to say though the waiter was excellent and the food amazing. Thank you.

Chose Mamma’s to meet up with my cousin, who was up from Northumbria. The venue was perfect: easy to get to, ideal for conversation, and the food was lovely - my veggie pizza was perfect! The chap serving us was very attentive & pleasant. All in, a wonderful night out.

Really lovely. They had good safety measures for Covid. Felt cared for and not rushed. Food was tasty and fresh. There was so much I took some home for later!
