Mango Thai Tapas - Portswood

The food was gorgeous and having the sampler menu meant we got to try lots of dishes! It was a bit strange that the table we were at had stools rather than chairs but it wasn’t too bad.

Amazing food - authentic, fresh etc. Relaxed but great service. Ask for a table in the front near a window, it’s a bit dull out the back!

Great food, quick service, cosy atmosphere ! Would love to come back soon, failing that, would happily get take away from here every night of the week

At Mango, there is consistently great food and lovely staff with an unpretentious attitude. We go as often as we can. If you like Thai food, you’ll love Mango.

My partner and I went for a meal on a Saturday night. We had pre booked and arrived early but we're seated immediately. We were sat at the back of the restaurant in a nice little room which we liked because the front part seemed a little noisy and crowded. We ordered a bottle of wine and 6 tapas dishes. Everything came quickly and was absolutely delicious. It's a little pricey but worth it nonetheless. 6 dishes was probably a little too much but we were treating ourselves. Came to £58 which is probably reasonable for most but definitely a treat for students. There are so many choices on the menu but we were very happy with what we chose. I particularly recommend the pepper and garlic pork. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd definitely go back.

We very much enjoyed our evening- we found the food to be fantastic and there was a great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Also will be coming back again!

Friendly staff and good service. Meal was beautiful. Did find the temperature in restaurant at lunchtime too cold though we had a table next to a radiator.

Fabulous tasting food served by an attentive friendly waitress. Everything served up hot and freshly cooked. The individual tastes of each dish was delightful. Can't wait to retitled

Lovely food and great service. Parking was tight but found a space on the main road. Chilli stir fry not for the faint hearted! More filling than you think!

Had a nice meal with a nice atmosphere. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Price a bit expensive but OK for what you get. Overall I would eat here again

We had a table of three and we were in the back room. Very small but cosy. Two of us sat like we were on a bus and our friend was sat on the end. This was the only down side. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the tapas style. We will definitely be visiting again

Wonderful food as per usual. We all tried new dishes and discovered new favourites. We even tried the jungle bugs. The music selection was a great mix as well.

Mango Thai- always great food, fast and friendly staff. Great for a quiet or big group meal.

Work meal- despite being at the back and cramped for space on the table we had a great meal.

Cosy friendly restaurant with comfortable atmosphere. Good choice of dishes, both small tapas style and main dishes. The green curry was very tasty, nicely spiced and with a good velvety sauce. The banana fritters however were not so good - the batter was too thick and undercooked. Overall we would return, but probably give the fritters a miss.....

Lovely little restaurant. The food was really good. We had loads of different dishes which were all really tasty. The service was great too. Would go again.

Friendly staff (and in Halloween mode), good food, lovely informal venue with interesting decor - we'll be back. Cant say any more than that. :)

Love coming to Mango. Great experience every time. Fantastic atmosphere, friendly and warm service ~ always seems like the staff care about you having a lovely meal. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. The food is out of this world and the menu is updated regularly with delicious options, so never get bored of what's on offer. The dessert menu is so good swell and their range of thai soft drinks are sublime!!

The Service was friendly and helpful, the food was of a very good quality with a good selection of Tapas and prices were very reasonable.

Lovely food, a bit hot where we were sitting but would go again. Unfortunately no tip left as the card machine didn't ask for one and we didn't bring cash. Worth remembering next time so you can ask waitress to add to bill total.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and loving the music in there. Staff are brilliant and friendly. Cocktails are the best, so exotic and yummy. Will be back there soon

Booked a table for 6 pm because we were going to the Theatre after. Very surprised to find the restaurant busy and staff actually having to turn people away. Lovely tapas and friendly staff. Best Thai Tapas in Southampton.

I amazing Thai tapas and curries good depth of flavour. Only issue can be very noisey in the front of the restaurant, music quite loud, but great atmosphere

Go there for all our special occasions !!! Love the food, atmosphere and the soundtrack ...... especially the Mango Breeze. It’s only about 10 minutes drive from home so nice and local.

Warm and cozy interior where friendly staff work hard to please. Extensive menu with plenty of choice for everyone- especially those with dietary restrictions. Food was plentiful and tasted great. Another wonderful evening.

The food was excellent but the service on that particular night, let this place down. People who arrived after us got their order taken before us, then every time we wanted something we had to hunt around for a waiter. My partner actually had to go to the bar and ask for more drinks. The place seemed under staffed. We haf to ask for our bill twice which in total took twenty minutes to get! Shame as we like the place.

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was very tasty and good sized portions. Wine was very nice. Very cosy seating but comfortable. Music a bit loud. This was my 4th visit and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent fare..... very busy and a little slow but well worth the wait. Would not hesitate to recommend Mango to anybody who likes Thai food.

Great food, great service, vibey atmosphere. They have Aspell cider too so a very happy customer here. A little gem is a changing town. We will definitely go back.
