Click here for a map of the restaurant's location. A Lebanese treat in the centre of Earls Court, London’s Meejana is so much more than the average Middle Eastern restaurant. They opened this addition to their Weybridge location in 2015, and have slowly been adding to the reputation that they built out in Surrey, providing one of the capital’s finest selections of shawarmas, mezzes and other favourites from their homeland. Meejana lies between Earls Court tube and West Brompton overground, on the corner of Redcliffe Gardens and Old Brompton Road, and is easily reached from all over London. Meejana looks forward to welcoming you soon.
Meejana on Old Brompton Road in Earls Court brings together some of the most beloved aspects of Lebanese cuisine – a diverse range of mezzes, chicken and lamb shawarma options, wines from the Middle East – and then builds on them. This London restaurant’s menu changes as the day goes on, and their lunch options are a favourite for West London office workers. There are huge sharing platters – 6, 8, 10 or even 20 different mezze dishes to split around a group – as well as salads, wraps and plenty of vegetarian dishes, so you can be sure of pleasing everyone in your group.
While there are some you’ll want to share with your friends, family or colleagues, there are others that you just have to keep to yourself. Take the djej meejana, their house speciality, a chicken marinated in their home-devised twelve-spice sauce: simply too good to share. Regulars to this part of West London will also rave about the seafood – Lebanon has a long coastline, after all – and you’ll be spoilt for choice when you book a table at Meejana on Old Brompton Road in Earls Court.
We enjoyed most of the food apart from the aubergine with tomato and the bread in our starter. Main menu is wonderful specially the salad. The waitress is very nice very helpful. The chef is also lovely, he comes to say hello and when we were leaving he came out to say goodbye.
Great food authentic and fresh ingredients good customer service simply one of the best Good wine list must try you won’t be disappointed All the best for the team
What a great find - we are from Sydney and staying around the corner on a two night stopover after a holiday in Italy. We are all Lebanese food fans and couldn't believe our luck at one finding the restarting and two the lovely meal we had. Fantastic range of food on offer, everything we selected was fresh, light and very tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall a great meal at the end of a long holiday. These four weary diners couldn't recommend the place highly enough .... and have already done so to some UK and Aussie mates.
All was perfect, from the interiors to the lovely food we had. All tasted delicious and better than other lebanese restaurants we tried before. We will definitely go back and recommend it!
1st visit here. First the good things-nice room, charming & helpful waiter. Hommous beiruty, sojuk & escargots mezze all really delicious. Red Lebanese house wine very drinkable. However, bread served with mezze was awful - either made earlier & reheated or bought in & microwaved, just dry & hard. Main courses of slow cooked chicken & lambshank tajine very poor - tasteless & without spice or seasoning. Strange choice of vegetables in tajine - overcooked cauliflower & broccoli florets!! Couscous particularly bad - inedibly bland & watery! Either it was Chef's night off or else quality control evident in the mezze just not applied to main courses. Such a shame. Overall, would still recommend Meejanah - just stick to mezze & you will probably have a fine meal.
Great food and v accommodating staff. Quite happy to let us make additional orders once we had finished all we ordered in "round 1 ". Only reservation is that it was not very busy which is surprising given its situation, the quality of the food, the length of time it has been open, and the fact that it was Saturday night. This makes for a lack of atmosphere which is a great pity as everything else about the place works so well
The food here is absolutely fantastic. I believe it to be the best Lebanese food, I have had so far in London. And certainly a lot better than at Comptoir Lebanais. There is quite a large selection of mezze and also of other food. I would really recommend the labneh and lamb kofta.
The food lived up to the reviews we'd read on Tripadvisor. Really tasty, fresh and plenty of it. The four of us chose the Chef's Menu - with lots of sharing plates. It was fabulous and we definitely plan to go again. Their Lebanese rose wine was a perfect companion to the food.
Service was excellent and the young woman was helpful, knowledgeable and able to provide us with excellent ordering advice. It was a cold and stormy night (!) and the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the food was excellent. Would recommend to anyone.
Fantastic, freshly made food. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Best of many Lebanese restaurants in London we tried so far. We in particular liked the variety of "unusual" dishes, and the much more pronounced Flavours and spices used to achieve it.
