Meejana on Old Brompton Road in Earls Court brings together some of the most beloved aspects of Lebanese cuisine – a diverse range of mezzes, chicken and lamb shawarma options, wines from the Middle East – and then builds on them. This London restaurant’s menu changes as the day goes on, and their lunch options are a favourite for West London office workers. There are huge sharing platters – 6, 8, 10 or even 20 different mezze dishes to split around a group – as well as salads, wraps and plenty of vegetarian dishes, so you can be sure of pleasing everyone in your group.
While there are some you’ll want to share with your friends, family or colleagues, there are others that you just have to keep to yourself. Take the djej meejana, their house speciality, a chicken marinated in their home-devised twelve-spice sauce: simply too good to share. Regulars to this part of West London will also rave about the seafood – Lebanon has a long coastline, after all – and you’ll be spoilt for choice when you book a table at Meejana on Old Brompton Road in Earls Court.
