what a lovely place. Best Indian restaurant in all of London. We come back as often as we can.

Had a nice meal here and there are plenty of traditional dishes to choose from. I enjoyed the lamb as it was very tender and the fish was well spiced to bring out the best of the meat.

We were seated right on time for our reservation. The service and food were excellent. Thank you to Memories of India!

We were seated straight away. The food arrived quickly and was of wonderful quality. The staff were attentive without being overly so. When the bill arrived, I was pleasantly pleased with the value for money. My only gripe is the 10% placed on the bill. In some instances, I would tip over 10%, unless it is added and they have incorporated it. I do appreciate that some people won’t leave any tip, so at least they get something. I would recommend this restaurant to others, for the food, service and value. Its close proximity to the Royal Albert Hall made it a great choice for us before a performance. I’d definitely go back

I really enjoyed the food here and there was plenty to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful and it has a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant.

First time dining here and the menu was what drew me to trying it. I was intrigued with some of the dishes and will definitely try the green chicken curry next time but went with a save option of lamb rogan Josh this time.

Always fantastic service, food and a buzzy atmosphere with a traditional feel. I had the tandori king prawns which come out sizzling (literally on the plate) and the daal makani never dissapoints.

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is warm and entertaining the customers all seem to be enjoying their meal and the staff very helpful especially the maitre d Ingram. Oliver

Our second time there after an amazing first time where the food was excellent and the waiting staff friendly and professional. This time around, the food was still good, but our waiter was not! His manner was abrupt and offhand and he didn't seem at all interested in obliging in any way. When I asked for a pint of Cobra, he asked if I wanted a bottle; not a terrible mistake, but symptomatic of a lack of attention and interest. I also asked if a main dish on the menu was available as a side and received a response that seemed to reflect irritation that I'd asked. I have no issue with the dish not being available as a side, but most restaurants are able to adapt in this way ergo, it was not an unreasonable request. Later when three of us had finished our deserts, he started to take our empty plates away while my wife was still eating. When this was pointed out to him, he had to be asked a second time to leave the empty plates alone and was abjectly unapologetic. After we had all finished eating he approached us and threw the bill wallet onto the table between my wife and sister without so much as a word. When I had settled the bill, (no gratuity added for obvious reasons), he threw the receipt onto the table aggressively and walked off again without a word. We arrived on time, and did not take an inordinate amount of time enjoying our meals so this apparent hurrying approach was totally unwarranted. The rest of the staff seemed very nice but I think it unlikely that Memories of India will see us again.

I loved the rogan josh and lemon rice - so flavoursome. My wife had the chicken curry and also lemon rice and she thoroughly enjoyed this. Can’t fault the service either

We decided to sample several curry’s and rices from the extensive menu and shared these between us. I highly rate the food here

Good tasting food in an amicabke setting served with a smile. Constant flow of takeout orders created a chill with the door frequently open. It is however understandable as restaurants are trying to survive.
