Miyagi – Bold Street

Lovely food, nice atmosphere, great place for a laid back yet posh dinner

Very much enjoyed our visit to Miyagi in Bold Street. The food and service was great as always and we will definitely be returning soon.

The food (especially the tempora prawns, rib eye and chicken lasak), ambience was cosy and chirpy and the staff were all excellent friendly and professional. Would definitely go again!

This place used to be a 10/10 restaurant. So disappointed to arrive and find out that sushi is no longer on the menu. I was informed that they require 24 hours notice if you want sushi. Most food on offer was deep fried so not the healthy option I was hoping for.

Easy, quick booking. Great service. Wonderful food. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend the duck gyoza -they're something particularly special!! Will certainly go again at the earliest opportunity!

This was my second visit and again I was not disappointed. The service was really good and attentive and the girl serving us was lovely. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. Can't wait for my next visit!

Great food, environment, staff and perfect attentive service. The team at Miagi called ahead to check with us on our reservation, ensuring we had everything we needed and provided an excellent dining experience. Cool as venue too.

Very nice staff--Charlotte is a great waitress :) Food was very good but not quite the Japanese we expected. Still very good though! Staff recommended a few dishes which was very helpful

I'm not sure if Miyagi wants to be Japanese or American soul. It's pretty strange and the tastes in the food mix also. I'd go back like, I just wouldn't expect a Japanese experience.

Food quality , variety and service was friendly , efficient and good. The menu was fully explained , ambiance , background music and decor was pretty cool

Delicious food, great service and amazing cocktails! I will definitely be going back. We had a selection of small and large dishes and shared them all. Everything was really tasty, especially the kingfish sashimi, duck gyozas and steamed pork buns.

Great vibes, great food, love this place! Never had bad food in all the times I have been. I Would highly recommend this restaurant. :-)

First time at Miyagi and have to say I thought it was exceptional. Can't fault anything and my ramen was just amazing (that stock). Can't wait to go back again.

Great food and really good atmosphere. Only negative a little bit slow with drinks service but very friendly customer service made up for that. another plus point nice bar just upstairs for after the meal.

The decor and ambiance in the restaurant is brilliant. Service is excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back again!!!

Great service, food and drinks delicious. The non alcoholic cleansers were really refreshing. Food cooked fresh and with care, packed with lots of flavour. Presentation of the restaurant and dishes where delicate. The only issue was we ordered far too much. We expected all small bowls to be small, but there was a mixture of large and small. So size of portions were not obvious. I would definitely come here again, this was exactly my type of food and now i have got a better idea of what to order - So i am sure i would enjoy my experience even more the next time as the table will not be as jam packed with food! However for someone who doesn't like spicy food they may struggle as my mum was coughing a lot from the hidden kick in the mayonnaise (i think this should be advised on more). I personally loved that most food had a hidden Wasabi spice in it and how Mayagi have managed to create a modern twist on Japanese style dishes combining with the popular tastes that everyone loves!

Staff were friendly, all tables where clean and well presented. Not a big fan of Asian food but the rib eye steak was absolutely gorgeous All dishes where presented nicely on the plates can not fault it 😊

i loved this place, certainly will be going again. Great food, good service and overall a lovely restaurant. Only thing a little strange is the toilet.

What a fantastic restaurant, the choice of menu was exceptional with a fusion of Japanese and western food, setting Miyagi apart from your more traditional Japanese restaurants. The service was friendly, helpful and just great and the atmosphere incredible, background music was jazz/blues based, loud enough to provide a really edgy and funky atmosphere but also allowing guests to converse freely during the meal. The food was really great, all 3 courses were superb. From a person who eats at some of London's top restaurants, Miyagi it right up there with the best. Will definately return next time we're in Liverpool...great night out.

Delicious food, really nice staff and very reasonable prices!! Bit of a wait, but there was another large party in there and when the food came it was hot and fresh, so we didn't mind!

Amazing food so many great things to choose from. loads of variety for veggies and meat eaters alike - it's hard to choose what to have. Drinks are equally good great wine list and fab cocktails. Atmosphere is fab and the staff are brilliant - helpful, friendly and excellent at the job. Couldn't ask for more!

Really nice Wish they hadn't taken the matcha grasshopper or the sushi off the menu! They were my favourites All of the food was really nice though and the staff were lovely
