Mr Cooper's at The Midland Hotel
16 Peter Street, Spinningfields
Manchester M60 2DS
One of Manchester’s leading contemporary restaurants, Mr Cooper’s offers a sophisticated dining experience with both atmosphere and refined food and drink. Located within The Midland Hotel, this eatery is inspired by the former house and garden of Mr Cooper, a horticulturist from the 1800s who dedicated himself to the use of fine ingredients. With this in mind, the kitchen team here have crafted a fine menu of British and Euorpean seasonal dishes made from high-quality produce. There’s plenty to rave about, but Mr Cooper’s dry-aged steaks are particularly noteworthy. The beef comes from Yorkshire Black Angus and Limousin cattle, with all cuts being carved by a skilled in-house butcher. Also home to an ambient bar, it’s safe to say Mr Cooper’s is not to be missed.

The food was very good and building itself lovely Dining experience is very formal individual waitress very good but the presence of too many managers is oppressive Strange choice of dessert on the set menu as many people have peanut allergies and no flexibility for replacement
You did not tell us we could not enter the Midland hotel as the Conservative Party Conference was on. A fiasco! Ate elsewhere.
