Located within The Midland Hotel, this eatery is inspired by the former house and garden of Mr Cooper, a horticulturist from the 1800s who dedicated himself to the use of fine ingredients. With this in mind, the kitchen team here have crafted a fine menu of British and Euorpean seasonal dishes made from high-quality produce. There’s plenty to rave about, but Mr Cooper’s dry-aged steaks are particularly noteworthy. The beef comes from Yorkshire Black Angus and Limousin cattle, with all cuts being carved by a skilled in-house butcher. Also home to an ambient bar, it’s safe to say Mr Cooper’s is not to be missed.
