Friendly and attentive service from all staff. Food was tasty and good portion sizes. The starters were great, with fresh side salad and the main courses were piping hot with good size pieces of chicken in them.

Food great and staff really helpful with vegan choices (checking with kitchen, making vegan dahl and swopping my rice when we realised it wasn’t vegan)

Food was good but the service was very poor and, at times, you wondered whether they actually knew what they were doing! Not somewhere I would recommend.

The hospitality was poor. Food was served late. Lack of flavour, small portions and the waiters were ill-mannered. Mandatory service which should have been optional, especially given the service we received.

The food was amazing in taste but tiny servings, and the service was really lackluster. They forgot our drinks order entirely, our food didn't come for 35mins, they took 30 min to Just bring us our bill. I wouldn't go back again. Oh and they charged 5.80 just for 4 papadums with some dips! :( And when I told the matron at the end of the night all this, including the long wait, there was ABSOLUTELY NO APOLOGY!!!! Would not go back now which is a shame given their food especially naan was so good.

Very busy but the service was still very good and the food looked and tasted fantastic. Will definitely be visiting Mumbai Indian Restaurant again in the near future

Another great night out at this lively and welcoming venue. Whilst we have been here a few times previously this booking was for quite a bit later in the evening than usual, so the place was busier than we have normally experienced. However, the staff we still their usual friendly, attentive selves and the service was still excellent. We took the opportunity to try different dishes from the menu - would thoroughly recommend the Mumbai Square special mix - a great combination and great value for money.

Paying a return visit to this very comfortable and enjoyable location. Always a good welcome and great service, with flavoursome food with decent portions. Staff are always friendly and attentive and we have always enjoyed a very good night out. Would recommend this location without hesitation.

Good atmosphere. Good food. Good service. I nipped in here for a business lunch as it was around the corner from my hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the staff, they were very accommodating, the food was very nice and the portions were decent also. It is certainly worth a trip!

Good food and peaceful ambience. The serving staff was a bit disorganised, which would have been an issue if it was a formal dinner, but as it was just a mates night out, we didn't mind too much.

Very good service and great food. We have been here before, and we will be back again. Its very good value for money, even for London.

This was a return visit as have had previous good experience here, and pleased to say was even better then before! Had different menus and was set out differently, certainly a lot better than previous but still with the same very good, attentive waiting staff with good quality food and fair sized portions. Definitely will be visiting again.

Fantastic food, good choice of chefs recommendations. Really flavoursome curries. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Not terribly busy on a Saturday evening, but a nice buzz.

The quality of the food was poor, the dishes are expensive and the restaurant is low on atmosphere. The service was good but overall, very disappointing.

The flavours were more varied than in a traditional Indian restaurant. I particularly liked the sauce over the chilli paneer. I have never had Manchurian chicken before.

Food came out quickly and the quality and flavor was good. Portions are exactly right, not too much nor too little. They also have good vegetarian options.The service was great. I highly recommend this place.

Not as good at all as expected. Over priced for ordinary menu. Will not go again and will not recommend others. Needs to upgrade their menu and review their price.

Food was lovely but a private party in the restaurant spoilt the visit as music was was much too loud and we couldnt hear ourselves talk.

Lively atmosphere, great service. Good quality food with decent sized portions. Was offered a different menu from our last visit so had different choices but still a good selection. This is rapidly becoming one of my favourite regular eateries in the City.

The food was traditional and tasty but the service is erratic bordering on the "Basil Fawlty". I was entertaining 2 clients and it really was very embarrasing to have to wait for every dish we orderd to eventually be delivered. The food, when it eventally turned up, is extremely good. The Tandoori dishes are a delight. Tip - order two beers when you arrive as you will die of thirst waiting for the second one to arrive if you order it later in the meal.

I visited it first time by looking at the name. Service was very good but taste didn't meet the expectations. Food was very mild inspite of request to make it hot.

Food wasn’t great, did not enjoy the starters however the mains were decent. The atmosphere was also very weird. Would not go back and Would not recommend it either

The food is absolutely delicious. The bill was quite expensive for what we got; starter, main, rice and 1 drink each was £100 for 4 people. For an Indian restaurant that was a bit much. But the food is great and thr service was good.

Yet again great service and great food - not my first visit and will not be my last. Always a good quiet evening out with friends

Mumbai square was a lovely experience , the staff always very helpful friendly , and the food was lovely ' I think it's my favourite Indian resturant, also very clean there .

Had a really good meal here, will definitely be going back in the future. One of best we have had and tried lots of curry places. Staff that looked after us were very good as well.

This place has great Indian food, although not a very lively atmosphere. I would recommend it mostly for the food. Flavours were authentic. I would recommend it to families mostly and work lunches.

Excellent food but the place itself looks a bit tired. A coat of paint here and there and a bit of cleaning would help. The food is very good value for money and even more so for us as we were using Tastecard. Starters, mains and drinks came to £72 for four of us.

Restaurant was clean,food served hot and came promptly.Bar service and fairly reasonably priced,was not sure if it was licensed as could not see a drink menu on the website.

Great food and excellent service. Conveniently located, a short walk from Liverpool Street. We are all looking forward to going back there again in the future.

Not a very good experience. Food was below average. Service was slow and not very attentative. Won't be visiting again unfortunately. Much better places close by.

Very quiet and not much of an atmosphere. Food of a good standard and served pretty much at reasonable intervals between courses. Would go again.

Main course was great! The starters could have been better. Tha chaat was like a vegetable dish . Over all a good value for money.
