Amazing restuarant nice food, great ambiance, good for business meetings or for a lunch date. amazing deal on groupon! was really impressed and lovely staff - a bit slow - but sweet.
Location was great although the decor is a bit dated. Staff helpful , well mannered and attentive Biggest disappointment was the food, not authentic enough
Staff very friendly and helpful , service was excellent , would return there again , food was delicoius . Would recomened this restuarant to friends and family
Really lovely staff, amazing food, huge portions!! It is a shame about the location of the restaurant, however I would definitely go again. Good deal
Lovely food, great prices, good selection for a buffet, great ambience and good value for money. The buffet had a good selection of veg and non -veg.
The starters especially the Onion Bhaji was very oily In the Main Course (Buffet) - the Paneer wasnt fully cooked But chicken tikka masala and lamb curry was very good Would definitely go there again as the price realistic and good choice for the buffet menu
Lovely restaurant, very smart with nicely dressed tables. The food is lovely, an interesting menu with traditional dishes and dishes with a modern twist. I recommend trying the later. Lots of choice for every pallet. Worth the visit.
Food was amazing. Great value and drinks were a reasonable price. Good service and I would recommend. Cooked to perfection and the whole family enjoyed it.
Went as a group of ten, had previously booked, went for the buffet service, cheap for city at £9.99, but they do have an a la carte menu too, excellent service, seated quickly, starters came to us at the table, could've been more generous as it was yummy... Food selection for mains was really good, hot and not too spicy, lots of veg options. Dessert was nice. Choice of cheesecake and a rice pudding. Would go again!
Mumbai Square prepares slightly sweeter curries than we are used to but surprisingly delicious! Good food, very generous large portions and good service. We will be back.
Hosted my mother-in-law's 50th birthday dinner here. The service was fantastic, the food was great (including veggie options) and they allowed us to bring our own DJ so we could dance after dinner. It's the 2nd time I've hosted an event here and I would do it here a third time. Brilliant service-everyone loved it!
Food very nice very enjoyable and nice and hot and the waiter showed us old pictures of the area on his ipad service was very good
A mixed menu group , pre-booked, but everything in place and prompt service, food was to everyone's satisfaction. No hesitation in endorsing the restaurant for such functions, though I do recommend advance booking.
Very decent buffet, excellent lamb and sea food, but the chicken was a bit dry. Slightly short on deserts (ie rice pudding and oranges only).
Waitor and waitress are well-trained. Services are excellent. We had the lunch buffet and all of us agreed would recommend it to our friends. I definitely will go again and try other dishes next time.
The food was excellent as usual. and we will be booking a table for 6 again in March next year. We use this restaurant for all of our meetings held in London Thankyou
Return visit with friends from our previous evening meal only last month, food was again suprime and service top notch. Thoroughly recommend to romantic couples and large groups alike. Already looking forward to my next visit.
Fantastic food with a wide selection of starter and main courses, brilliant service from the waiters and not too expensive. Clean, well presented space, well stocked bar.
Had buffet. Very good choice and good service with plenty of space. Atmosphere is pretty average but location in Middlesex Street great for the East End.
Food was excellent as usual. They were busy with a Christmas party but service a little slower than usual. The lunch buffet still represents the best value in the city
Be sure to follow up booking with an e-mail giving your requirements, particularly dietary needs, as its not always certain all details passed through in original booking
Good place. Friendly staff. Quiet and gives a good dining experience. There is soft music playing in the background. Authentic Food. I'd give it a go!
The food was very good. The ambiance could be improved a bit. All our colleagues enjoyed the dinner.... The service was slow initially, but later on it was fast.
Great food, lovely staff, and really accommodating for my vegan friend. Really well priced, especially for central London. Will definitely be returning :) thank you!
The staff were welcoming and helpful. We opted for the buffet. There was an excellent choice of dishes and the food was of very good quality. Having poppadums and a hot mixed starter included in the price of £9.99 was an added bonus.
We are regular lunch customers here and it was good to see it busy although the service does suffer somewhat, our drinks order was taken at least three times by different waiters and we still waited about 10 minutes until we got our drinks. That said the buffet was excellent and overall value is also excellent. Buffet dessert was the usual 2 dish choice but for 10 quid for 3 courses and including popadoms, nan and pickles, it's a great place to go for a slap up quality curry at a great price. Ps we are always welcomed very warmly. Would highly recommend
Nice food, good decor only minor issues was no background music not all tables had flowers in the pots (some were quite wilted as well) and limited wine choice
Great choice of dishes on the lunchtime buffet and overall provides great value for money in comparison to other similar venues. Service is good which helps if you are tight for time.
Great place for lunch! We always have the buffet which is delicious and very good value for mpney. Staff are very attentive, there was no waiting around for anything.
The food was good in the buffet. Ambience was ok considering I went for a business lunch. Even though it was a very good spread overall, vegetarian options were limited.
Rating: B - : Good, tasty food - restaurant room a bit dark. Efficient and quick service Good for lunch, less for dinner I suspect.
No rush to get us fed and out so very relaxing and excellent food with good portions. We will definately be going back next year.
Went for lunch at Mumbai Square last week and chose the lunchtime buffet. Good, prompt service but some of the "hot" buffet items were cold.
Starters are better than the mains. Staff are very polite and helpful. Overall it's what you'd want Indian food to taste like.
Service was very slow and they were playing Christmas music on 26 Nov which is just way too early. Food was very good and there was a good choice on the menu
Variety in the buffet and the quality is degraded from my previous visit few months back
We enjoyed a great experience at Mumbai Square. The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious and the prices were good. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Very Friendly service! lovely people. Great space. Terrific food. background Music left a lot to be desired, but to be fair, it's near christmas, and i am not fond of the awful monotomy of cyclic drivelling christmas songs!
The starter limited and uneven. Also there were delays in getting the naans . Foods OK . May be the dessert is better as it was all over when we went to get it at the buffet.
Mumbai Square is quite a large restaurant somewhat hidden away, but its very good Indian food, perfect for lunch if you're working in the area or large parties. Recommended!
