Interesting range on the menu, nice to have a mix of Indian and Nepali. We were a large group so had a range of things and everyone found it tasty!
The food here is very good and the staff helpful and friendly. Only negative is the toilets which could do with an upgrade. Will defiantly be back though.
Didn't have Prosecco but went out and got some especially for us - great service. Food was excellent as well - were nor rushed at all and offered a break between courses.
It was a few years since we had been to Namaste. We had a great evening in pleasant surroundings with good service - but the food is not what it used to be - still good but not exceptional
We had a wonderful meal at Namaste Kathmandu - it's quite conveniently located, service was friendly, accurate and speedy, and the food was incredible. We tried the tandoori king prawns, vegetable dumplings, fish curry and slow cooked lamb from the Nepalese menu - and we definitely recommend them all! Will certainly return next time we are in the area.
Friendly people, attentive service and delicious food! Very good Indian restaurant And one of the best chicken tikka masala I ever had. I would definitely recommend this place!
Excellent food as always, terrific service as always and just an all round top notch dining experience. Definitely one of the best in the city.
Very good experience overall, nice and helpful staff in a comfortable restaurant. Food was very good and was served hot with a hot plate. Just the restrooms need to get redecorated.
Great restaurant with authentic Momos. Tasted just like the ones we had in Nepal last year. Service was excellent. Overall, really good! I would recommend to all!
This restaurant is a must visit place for curry lovers. I keep coming back there and never get bored. Very good service at reasonable prices
We came for a birthday celebration with friends and family. Everyone really enjoyed the food and would recommend it to their friends too. The staff were very friendly too.
Food was very good and initial welcome and service were excellent, but we had a long wait to get the bill at the end of the evening.
Welcoming and efficient staff. Great tasting and well presented food at reasonable prices. Would most definitely go back on a future visit to the city.
Excellent, friendly service and the food was great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The mix of Nepalese and Indian options was a new experience for me and was about right.
brilliant food, service. Arrived a bit earlier, but our table was ready for us. Cool interior with pics of Everest panorama. Thank you for the rose on the Valentine's day :)
Great service and great food - would highly recommend. The traditional Nepalese dishes were divine and would definitely suggest everyone has a tandoori starter -
Once again, such a delightful evening spent at Namaste Kathmandu. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly; very attentive throughout the entire night. The food was absolutely exquisite - full of flavour and a very generous amount. The wine was also lovely. The only thing that stops me from giving this a full star rating is that the food took a little bit longer to come than I would have liked. However, it was Valentine's day evening and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait!! I highly recommend Namaste Kathmandu.
Very good food, service was a little slow but resturant was full to capacity so is only to be expected. Staff were all very helpful and the Nepal beer is nice
Repeat visit. Busy night due to 6 Nations rugby but service was efficient. Nepalese style Indian restaurant. The Nepalese dishes can be recommended. The Chicken Satay starter is excellent. The lamb dishes are excellent and the Peswari Nan a must. Reasonable pricing.
This little gem on Forrest Road, Edinburgh is surprisingly spacious and bright inside with modern and stylish decor. They offer a varied menu, fantastic food and excellent service. Well worth a visit to Namaste Kathmandu.
The first thing we noticed was the scent of herbs and spices. The promise this held was delivered by the wonderful dishes and underlined by the non-alcoholic fruit cocktails which tickled our taste buds. The staff were friendly and comfortably attentive. We had found this restaurant online and chose it amongst other reasons with logistics in mind. We will most definitely go back!
Fresh food. Quick service. Would recommend if you like Indian or Nepalese food. Super close to the university, so great for a break away from work.
The food is gorgeous and the restaurant is in a good location. We have been before and really liked it then and said we would definitely go back and would again.
The food was good and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good meal at a reasonable price.
Good food fast service But it was very busy due to the fringe festival being on so felt a bit rushed We usually come up to Edinburgh in July So not the resteraunts fault it was busy Plus we were near where all the servers come out so people passing out table every few mins.
A beautiful restaurant with very tasty and absolutely wonderful food. The service was excellent. A most enjoyable experience and if you like Asian food I would recommend a visit.
Very nice as usual. It was the first time my parents ever had curry, and they were very much impressed, both by the food and by the place.
