I had never been before but wanted too for a few years. We had a Sunday lunch on mother's day which was great value. The service was great especially given it was pretty busy, and we're great catering to my kids letting us modify meals. I will definitely be back

My wife and I went on Friday 9th February and both really enjoyed our meals, so we returned on Sunday 11th Feb and had Sunday roasts which again were really good, the outstanding part was the mashed potato which is the best I have ever had. We were only in Felton for the weekend and if we return, which is very possible, we will be booking all our meals at the Northumberland Arms, highly reccommend the place.

We booked for Valentine's night and had a great meal in very nice surroundings. My wife and I both chose steak and they were perfectly cooked. It was our second visit to the Northumberland Arms but will not be our last.

We love coming back to this part of the world and although we are staying in a cottage 50yards away this time, a visit to the excellent Northumberland Arms was always planned. We were given the warmest welcome from one of the dogs who was enjoying the atmosphere in the dog friendly bar area. This was quickly followed by a warm welcome from the staff member who offered us the chance to go to our table immediately, even though we were 1/2 hour early for our booking. Preferring to sit at the bar we enjoyed a couple of uninterrupted drinks before heading to our table. My order of Chicken Snittzle, was beautifully presented and delivered with a generous helping of Parmesan fries and a delicious garlic dressing. My wife’s steak and Frites

A great looking establishment from the outside and even better once through the doors. However the wheels came off a bit as soon as we ordered our food, they unfortunately server my wife the wrong main course,which left a 15 minute wait until they corrected their error, at which point I had finished my meal. The staff were very apologetic and offered us a discount from our bill, which helped. I would still recommend this place as the food was very good and the manager was very polite and friendly, Ronnie &Michele from Edinburgh.

Visited on a wet Thursday afternoon in February and the food and ambience in this pub were both excellent. The staff were friendly too. Highly recommended

The Sunday lunches were delicious we also had an apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding for desert which were also delicious, the service was fab all the staff were very friendly and attentive, would high recommend

Sunday lunch was really nice, only gripe was it got cold quickly. Likely because the plates were cold. Also it appears no one knows how to clear glasses. The large table accross from us, we're getting new drinks and they all had a collection of 2/3/4 empties each. The table next us, a family was told to sit at while they got their food table ready and still no one cleared the glasses from the table either.... Just don't understand it.... 🤷‍♀️ One - how when putting down new drinks, not taking empties back, and two - to seat a family and not clear and whipe the table for them, gobsmacked about it really. The person in charge, I suppose wasn't really doing a good job at managing? Would we go back? Probably, if I'm in the area. Food was nice, although I'd make sure plate was hot. Would I rush back? No, wouldn't go out my way to go.

Very friendly. A dog kept barking at us, but I’m sure our kids were annoying to others too.

Quite a while to wait for food order . Must have just had a delivery of clean napkins .And that seemed to be the import thing 3 staff members at one point folding them 🙃
