Visited for my mum's birthday. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. Hope to return very soon.

We are up in Northumberland for a week's holiday and choose The Northumberland Arms for our Sunday lunch. It was absolutely delicious. One of the best we've eaten whilst eating out. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would recommend anyone to visit here.

Reserved a table in the bar but put on a table in the restaurant that wasn’t set for the correct amount of diners. Staff brought wrong drinks, wrong glasses and wrong cutlery. Food was delicious but service was very disjointed and there was a comedy of errors.

I've not been to the Northumberland Arms for about 3 years but it was every bit as wonderful as I'd hoped. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was laid back, quiet but not stagnant, and the food was exceptional. We'll definitely be back!

First time here and went on recommendations which didn't disappoint. Lovely Pork Wellington, worth the wait. Very dog friendly which made it all the more enjoyable.

Despite being busy, we were immediately shown to our table. All 4 of us struggled to pick our courses due to the range of delicious sounding dishes. We weren’t disappointed with our final choices. Melt in the mouth Ox cheeks, perfectly cooked Hake and juicy chicken . Our server was absolutely brilliant, attentive without being overbearing. If you want a fantastic meal, head here
