Great food and kind staff although slow. They accommodated a gluten free version of a dish for me which I very much appreciated. However, they were clearly understaffed and my food didn't come at the same time as the rest. After waiting several minutes in which I had to encourage my party to start eating without me, I ended up asking what happened with my order. They apologised and brought it fairly quickly after I asked, but it was cold, it had clearly been waiting for long time to be picked up.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly service - tapas dishes were good but we ordered one of the specials (Hake Tempura) which was just pure salt and spoilt the experience a little. Management however did not charge for this dish, and we came away with an overall good experience.

Very unimpressed with the food and expected much more from the pictures and the lay out of the website. Have eaten much cheaper Tapas which has been much fresher, tastier and more enjoyable.

The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, the wine was delicious and the seating is incredibly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and would definitely come here again.

Service was slow and our desert order was forgotten. Staff also didn't know what non-alcoholic drinks were available. It was also quite empty yet they chose to sit a loud couple right next to us.

Just as a comment, there is no Ribera del Duero wine but the food was excelent and the service very friendly with us. The singers and the music were lovely!!

The food is simply amazing! A mix of basque and spanish food. The best basque restaurant in London. Staff really friendly, good atmosphere in the restaurant. The decoration is awesome.

Was gutted after being turned away for being late! Due to unforeseen circumstances (tubes shut) I was late. The waitress gave our reserved table to the couple in front of me :( ruined my birthday meal!

Great Spanish foo experience, with a minor Asian influence. Proportionate selection of Spanish wines. Quiet atmosphere downstairs on a Monday night. Attentive service. Kitchen in sight but no noise/fumes.

Good location, good food but bit pricey. They have changed the menu so upstairs you only can have tapas and downstairs you have a menu more elaborated.

Nice decor but food very ordinary and over-priced. Plate of cured meats with two tiny bits of Iberico but lots of the cheaper salamis for £16. Same for a few bits of cheese on a board. Four slices of inferior quality baguette for £2.50. Went there before and it was fine. It's gone downhill though it seems. Wouldn't go there again....

Food was good but miniscule portions and very expensive. Wine by the glass at £10 per 125ml outrageous. Some dubious experimental ideas such as quinoa tartare not successful. People mostly very welcoming and helpful. First person we spoke to had no record of my booking.

Really nice place. Cool atmosphere, good wine and excellent food. Took the cold meat platter and the cheese platter, both very good, only the cheese platter was a little too small. Service was nice too, quick and attentive. I definitely will go back.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were made to feel at home and they were knowledgeable about both the food and the wine. The food was perfect.

This was my fourth visit to Bilbao but this first time that I have had a meal other than tapas. This was up to my expectations and in line with the excellent wines and relaxing atmosphere

The food was excellent and atmosphere very nice with the lighting etc in the restaurant downstairs, the menu had a very good choice of options including pigeon, fish and pork belly. However it felt like the waiter was rushing us to choose drinks and then immediately food before we could enjoy our first drinks, although the table would not have been needed again that evening due to the time of reservation and there were other tables available - so that was a shame when we were trying to have a more relaxed meal and seemed unnecessary throughout the meal. It was a very nice place to meet friends and celebrate a special occasion. The sea bass ceviche and paella were great and the desserts had some unique flavours like strawberry soup and basil sorbet and a chilli chocolate dessert, they were all delicious.
