Ognisko Restaurant

6pm Arrival, with a request that we needed to leaving at 7:10pm. Our First course was incorrect, so we had to wait for it to be replaced, It came to 6. 55pm and we had not received our main course, We spoke to the waiter and he was abrupt and rude, When we reminded him that we need to leave by 7:10pm, so we ask to see the manager and the manager said we could choose to leave to get to our destination on time, or stay and be late for our concert at the Royal Albert Hall so we left, so we left just having a starter. And very hungry, not impressed.

Nice venue but tables very close together so rather crowded. Some meals were good but a couple not good at all. One specific dish was wanted which was already finished at 8.00 pm.

We had lunch in the terrace and the weather was amazing! We both had the menu for 18.50 which is a great price. I had sea bream and it was exquisite

The food was excellent as was the service, no impeccable.

Proms menu was £22 for two courses but one of our party was running late and only had time for one of that menus' main courses. That they had the nerve to charge £19.50 for this alone was quite ridiculous and over-priced.

Starters, location and service excellent. Alas we didn't experience our main courses as they did not deliver them to our table in time. We ordered from the prom menu, waited an hour and had to leave. The staff ignored us when we tried to gain their attention, whereby we had to leave our table to approach them, then the waiter promised the kitchen would have them ready in 1.5 minutes, after 5 we had to abandon hope, despite the waiter said the Royal Albert Hall is 3 minutes away (it is further) we felt rushing our main course would have been too stressful. The manager said they were very busy, lots of apologies, the fellow diners meals looked delicious, and there was a good atmosphere but we left disappointed and hungry.....

Excellent, the place is beautiful and very authentic. Outdoor seating was great.

This is a really great restaurant. The terrace is beautiful, the food is always interesting and the service is very professional.

We've visited the restaurant at the time of the reservation but they said the place was hired for a party and were refused to enter. They said they will check what happened with my reservation but they never got back.

Ognisko is a very good value Polish restaurant. Sat on the terrace on a sunny day overlooking the green square. The food is delicious, Polish food with lots of pickles and fresh flavours. Staff attentive and good. Recommended.

High standard of cooking, presentation and service. Also enjoyed the chef's dancing to rap music!
