Attentive reception. First time there and made to feel welcome and comfortable. Loved the space; one doesn't feel crowded and you can hear yourself speak and the other person too without shouting; bliss! Food to die for, though pudding needed attention, but I spoke to someone about it and they tell me by the time I come again it will be sorted. A lovely place. Staff friendly and attentive without being around too much. As a fish eating vegetarian, I found the menu great; good choices. Straight vegetarians would also find this fine - and the dishes are different to the usual fare labelled v. Dishes a good size. Good selection of wines. Will be going again soon.

Wonderful food in an elegant slightly old world Kensington room, at prices that are distinctly mid-market for food that's a cut above. Venison and duck were outstanding, as were the Placka (potato pancakes).

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ognisko. The restaurant room was beautiful, the atmosphere was vibrant, the service was excellent and, most of all, the food was exquisite. One of the best meals we've had for quite a while.

The menu is so unusual , it really offers a new experience even to the most educated palate. The service is always excellent but beware of the Cold War cocktail - it is truly delicious, but dangerous!

Mistake to order two courses after a Prom. Service was fine to start off with but deteriorated. One of the starters was wrong but it took some time for the staff to realise the customer is always right.

Charming and courteous staff, lovely surroundings. Excessive wait for food, which was very mixed. Vegetables were delicious, barszczt delicious. But I am sorry to say I had trouble swallowing my salt beef. My cousin's rabbit however was delicious.

As always, the food at the restaurant was excellent as was the service. The surroundings are conducive to conversation as we have found other restaurants noisy with loud music playing. We always book into the Polish Hearth Club Restaurant prior to attending a function in town. Our last visit was before we attended the play upstairs in the functions room, Moliere's 'The Misanthrope' so we mixed a fine meal and wine with an excellent night's entertainment. A warm open welcome was indicative of what was to come. Service and attentiveness equal to the best restaurants coupled with an easy going informal manner. Food and drinks totally hit the mark and at 40 a head a real steal.

It was both a delicious meal in a very pleasant environment & good service overall a very enjoyable experience & one to be explored further with a more leisurely one not having to race to either a Prom or Late Night Prom merely a dining experience. Bravo!

Nice location, and attentive staff, but unfortunately the food was below par. One of our dishes was delivered cold twice!

Good variety of tasty polish food but our waitress was not the most polite.

In this occasion the level or noise in the restaurant was barely tolerable and the service was not up to the level of other occasions. There were several mistakes regarding orders. For the rest the food was very good, the wine list extensive and the cocktails excellent.

A beautiful room, very attentive and friendly staff, and above all delicious food made our meal memorable. A perfect place to eat pre-theatre before going to the Proms.

Best food I've eaten in London. I really enjoyed my evening at Ognisko. I can heartily recommend the beetroot martini.
