Ounce At Worcester

Food was of high quality. Service was very good e sad specially as Ounce was busy. We enjoyed a long lunch.

Unfortunately, the menu was not available on the day. They were only doing a valentines special however their website did not relay this information. I rang a total of 11 times before anyone answered.

Totally amazing as it always is. We will be returning. The staff are really friendly, the steak was cooked to perfection and the sides we ordered were mouth watering.

Food was great, wine was great, service was great. Unfortunately, the table was located in a thoroughfare so I kept getting knocked as people walked through.

The food was good but service was slow, considering we went early, 5.30 the staff were slow at coming to us , once ordered the food did come quick, also sat by the constant popping door so was cold. And finally it was very expensive so would be returning.

We were taken to our table when we arrived which was right by window upstairs. I mentioned to 3 staff members that it was cold by the window. One said she will see if she can get a heater, 2 other staff members said they will ask for heating to be put on. This didn’t happen so I stayed in my coat. 😞There was plenty of other available tables at the time, so they could have moved us. It took along time to get our drinks, others came in and were served before us, asking waiter we were told they mislaid our order. It also took a very long time for staff to take our food order, we eventually called staff over to us. We did stay for dessert because we were cold. Main meal food was very good.

Service was slow and they kept forgetting to bring drinks. Food was nice however steak was very cold once served.

Have visited ounce multiple times . Everything was great but the sauce and butchers sauce were very very salty. Disappointed

This was my son’s first time visiting Ounce for his 16th birthday and my second time. We really enjoyed it and staff were very good with the fact I have coeliac disease

Lovely food, and have eaten at ounce many times. However last night, it took along time to have our order taken, which wasn't an issue, until we had, had our meals. We then seemed to be rushed out the door, bill arrived before it was asked for, and table was being cleared and cleaned before we had finished our drinks. I understand the restaurant was busy and tables were required, but we were made to feel we had out stayed our welcome. I will stress though food was excellent and the rushed exit hasn't happened before,and I will book again, in future.

Sunday lunch for birthday celebration. Food excellent except for a couple of very overdone Yorkshire puddings (unsure why these would have been released as acceptable by the kitchen). Didn’t get requested table and upstairs was freezing cold with no atmosphere - just one other table of 2 occupied.

Everything was perfect. Drinks a little expensive but everywhere is like that

Amazing, as always. I went with a friend for the chateaubriand for 2 and the food was great. We had dirty ounce mash, cauliflower cheese and butchers jus as our sides. All were perfect. The dessert menu is a bit uninteresting, but as there's so much in your main course it's OK to skip dessert.

Always 10 out 10 great service friendly staff and great value

Took over an hour for the food to arrive. Very little service in that timeframe from the staff. Table for 2 by the bar with a constant flow of traffic past and nowhere to hang our coats. Also a foul sewerage smell. Food really good, Guinness was awful.

Last minute decision to go out for Sunday lunch, wasn’t disappointed lovely as always

I was a restaurateur for 20 years and the name of the game is 'consistency' - this place has it with bells on - cow bells!! Chateaubriand for 2 for £30 is bonkers! Exceptional value and quality to match. My Scallops with Pork Belly starter was worth the 20 mile trip on their own. Servers - always with a smile and a cheerful disposition. Great selection of beer and the best Gin display ever! If you live in Worcester and you haven't been then you're nuts!
