Food fantastic. We went at lunchtime on a Saturday however and it was virtually empty. We were told kitchen closed at 2.30pm so we had to order all our food before then. Including dessert. So that wasn't ideal. The bar closed at 3.30pm and we had to order all our drinks before then. Quite pricey drinks and food but the food itself was really superb and worth a visit for that. However I would recommend an evening visit!

Excellent food and service. Beef penang was nicely spiced and beef cooked perfectly medium rare. Would highly recommend Patara to any lover of thai food.

The restaurant offers amazing food, a large variety of choices, and delivers a great service. The decor is very chic and the atmosphere pleasant. Not too noisy.

Set menu was an excellent option. Love this restaurant . Would recommend it to anyone. Definitely worth the money and time. 10 out of 10

The food was excellent however the service was slow. Nothing was served together and had to ask several times for the side dish of rice.

Food lovely. Staff very attentive, Also very helpful with choices if you are not to sure. A very satisfactory experience. Not a cheap dinner, but well much worth every penny. A good selection of wine too. Definitely return.

pricey, average food. Zumas is similarly priced for much better food. The ambience is good. Busy but lots more choice in Soho. less pretty surroundings but good food and prices

Delicious authentic food and an excellent range of choice. Starters, mains and desserts all delicious - I can highly recommend the soft shell crab salad, massaman curry and tamarind duck. Fantastic service from friendly, polite staff in a lovely peaceful restaurant.

Delicious food, good staff, clean, the portions are satisfying can't wait to come back! I always recommend this place to my friends and family. A bit pricy but it's worth it.

Great food and service - table initially a little small for two and the set Patara banquet feast but they helped by pushing another table together. Set Banquet pretty awesome especially with the Lobster Pad thai - make sure you are hungry !!

Went there with friends and had a very enjoyable evening allthriughout. The sharing platter leaves nothing to be desired - would go again in a heartbeat.

Amazing! We were running a little late and they accommodated us very well. Great food and yummy cocktails. Reasonable prices too. Only thing we had to ask a few times for someone to take our order which was slightly annoying. Would definitely recommend.

Average. Suggest going to Thai cottage instead. Same quality rating, real honest tasting food and fantastic atmosphere. You k now when a thai is real when the somtam is touching all the taste buds you have.

THE FOOD WAS COLD WHEN IT ARRIVED SO WE SENT THE COLD DISHES BACK. BUT OF COURSE THAT MEANT THAT WE HAD RICE BUT NO CURRY! ALSO THE WAITRESS SPILLED RED WINE ON MY COMPANIONS JACKET.

Good veggie selection, friendly staff and the atmosphere was really nice. It was my first time at Patara but I would definitely go back again.

We visited Patara with friends on Saturday evening based on reviews from several sources and were not disappointed. The venue is elegant and modern, the food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

We had the £29 deal - 3 courses and a glass of prosecco. Really good food and good service. It was very warm inside though, a bit too warm

They didn't bring us the food at the same time. We had simple requests and we had to send the food back literally 5 times. The food is good but the service is really not organized.

The food was absolutely amazing! Service was great! One of the best thai food I've ever tasted. Too bad we were in a hurry and I didn't get to enjoy my food in a normal pace.

When we arrived they couldn't immediately find our booking, the service was then a mess throughout. Dishes were served at different intervals and the wrong dishes arrived. Some of our choices didn't actually arrive at all. Poor this time in what is usually a great place to eat. I'll think twice before eating there again.

We are regulars at Patara due to its winning combination of great food, service and atmosphere. A great place for special occasions.

great service and excellent food. No matter people had reservations or walked-in, everybody was seated. something that happens rarely these days. the aromas and food brought me right back to Thailand - one of our favorite SE Asian countries. a bit pricey but i loved the meal.

The food was excellent but the service was appalling. We were largely left on our own in the corner and had to flag down attention for 5-10 minutes every time we wanted something. It's a shame as the service alone will put me off going again

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. A real buzz about the place. We particularly liked the prawn with pineapple and coconut curry. Very friendly staff.

Not great food. Went for fixed menu & the starters were cold. Sent back & took ages for new ones to come. Mains were ok, not spectacular. Shame. Wouldn't go back.

Brilliant. Absolutely beautiful, so elegantly designed, with very attentive service. Most importantly, it was some of the tastiest Thai food I can remember having. Can't wait to go again. The Soho location is very close to the Oxford street location, so it makes it easy to pick the other if your choice if full. Can't recommend enough!

Great food but extremely overpriced for what it was - small portions and not exactly presented well with pots and plates all over the place. £9.50 for green beans extra?! The atmosphere was fine - good for a date perhaps. I'd rather go to Busaba for a fraction of the price, with still excellent food and a good buzz.

We were a group of 10. We had excellent and attentive service fro Tik and his colleagues. The summer Taste of Patara was perfect as it accommodated all dietary requirements and tastes. Our favourite and lived up to our expectations

Delicious food, sparklingly clean and welcoming, intimate setting yet trendy and vibrant atmosphere. This establishment cares for its clientele by doing all they can to make both food and setting as good as it can be. Fun location in Soho too. We went to Mimi's around the corner for cocktails before dinner - Lovely bar with great service. Perfect evening.

the Restaurant is in a lovely setting ambience is good and staff are smiley and friendly. The food was amazing . We had one issue with the chicken salad (which was over done and dry) but when we told the waiter he happily took it off our bill. no questions asked!! Brilliant look forward to visiting the Wimbledon Branch soon!!!

We hadn't the 'taste of....' menu. This set menu was plenty for two people! Starters were great and mains were tasty and filling! I would recommend this restaurant

Good food but over priced for the portion sizes. Disappointed that we were at at the back of the restaurant despite having booked a table in advance and the restaurant being empty!

We've been visiting this branch of patara for 9 years. We will not be visiting again. Food was not to the normal standard. We had to get up and pay the bill at the till point as no one came to the table for us to pay. Generally this place has digressed. From a fine dining restaurant to cafe style service - but prices are still high. Real shame as we loved Patara / but not anymore.
