Beautiful setting, delicious food and attentive hosts. Will come again. We ordered from the seafood set menu and we're overwhelmed by the choice of food received. Great opportunity to try new dishes.
One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to. Excellent customer service with a traditional outlook on things. Try the lamb chops you will thank me later
Great food and great ambience and very popular place. Very clean and very tasty food. Will certainly come back to eat there. I lives the soup.
Wow! Wow! Wow! This restaurant is amazing ... A fantastic greeting from the staff upon arrival. The food is exquisite! My husband I shared sweetcorn fritters and prawn salad to start - incredible flavours!! Then I had lobster green curry - out of this world!! My husband had prawns in chilli - delicious! With some gentle steamed rice. Perfect!!!
Amazing beef dish is a must. We loved every minute of it. Good price too. Perfect location. Partner felt like a princess from the moment we walked in
The ambience was really nice. The food was amazing 10/10. A bit pricey but was well worth it. Best thai food i have had in ages. Order a mixed starter which cost £25 plus a tom yum soup with jumbo prawns for the hubby .Phad thai noodles with jumbo prawns patang beef were amazing. Hubby had two beers i had large glase of rose all came to £109. Oh and a side rice which we didnt even need was so stuffed and optional water bottle. Like i said expensive but great for special occasdions.
Very good food. Fast and very friendly service. We had the duck and coconut beef. Very good! Easy to find and not so crowded. We will be back!
2 years ago i had a great meal + service- fast forward to today and both the meal + service was mediocre at best. All dishes were over-salted; the king prawns undercooked; staff were not very friendly (just very matter-of-fact and no expressions on their faces); we waited more than 20 minutes after our starter to get the main course which i had to followup twice to ask. A feeble apology was attempted, but even the manager didn't come over to extend an apology. I can understand a slow kitchen on a Saturday night when the tables are full, but this was a half-filled Tuesday evening. i am disappointed and will no longer be recommending Patara to guests or friends. What a pity...
Food was mixed- some tasty dishes others not great- atmosphere was lacking in general Pricey for what you are getting and don't think I'll be back
Great Thai green curry, good level of spice and bursting with flavour. Pad Thai was a bit plain, was lacking something exciting. Overall good restaurant and great service.
Great atmosphere, delicious food & generous portions! I would recommend the lobster pad thai; and to share!! Plenty to choose from. Really enjoyed the evening.
Amazing Thai food, as good as the Thai food I had in Thailand; best Thai restaurant in London for sure. I would recommend it to all Thai food lovers.
Went to celebrate a large business deal at lunch time. We were virtually the only 4 people there but it didn't matter as we had excellent service, excellent food and wine. A really great experience and highly recommended.
Restaurant environment was very relaxed. Servers were attentative and topped up wine at beginning but lacked during meal with water and checking on us. Food is extremely good and very flavoursome.
Food and atmosphere were great and they were really accommodating with changes to my booking. However, felt really rushed at the end of the evening when they were closing up. Spoiled a great night.
Modern and warm environment combined with a best Thai style service are just the first touch for a positive experience. Menu is varied and rich where even non spicy lovers may find interesting dishes. Green curry lobster at the top.
We asked for Black Cod with Ginger, it arrived smothered with some sauce which was extremely salty and therefore inedible. When I mentioned this to the staff, there was no reaction and I ended up leaving most of it on the plate. We were also placed in an area so dark, that we had to get up to find a lighter area to read the menu. The starter and desert were quite nice.
Expensive, but the food and ambiance was great. Had the duck with chilli and basil with jasmine rice and would definitely recommend it to others.
Very attentive staff. Excellent food. To come back for when next time travelling to London West End or other place around the threatre district. Ans
We had great food ( duck rolls are delicious), very nice ambiance, kind service. We had a very good time and I will go back for sure!
Fabulous food again. Only downside is that it is a bit noisy and makes conversation slightly difficult. But overall a lovely restaurant, staff and food.
Best service, friendly staff and lovely food, would definitely return next time I'm in London, high quality service with high prices but definitely worth it
Really great food and ambience, waiters are very friendly and were accommodating of the fact we had a show to watch. Close to all the theatres so great for pre-theatre dinner.
We have been a few times and as usual the Food is good but this time the service was slow and inattentive... bit disappointing but hopefully a one-off.
Very attentive staff made for a good dining experience and they made the evening very pleasant overall -thank you ! The selection of food was brilliant, particularly for me as a vegetarian!
Fabulous place, fabulous food and fabulous service....great location especially for a pre theatre meal for the Prince Edward Theatre. Looking forward to eating there again when we next visit London.
Great experience - as ever, the food was excellent. We have been coming here for years and the quality never disappoints. This time we brought friends from out of town who were duly impressed.
My friend and I had the set menu which was very delicious. There was a lot of food, and it was great to try something different. Very large group of people were very loud. Would have been better if the large group was not seated in the middle of the restaurant.
Amazing lamb curry, Thai green curry was so so, presentation nice and atmosphere relaxed. Good location and reasonably priced. Would I visit again yes I would
Great service and the food is simply amazing. Really worth visiting and left us all absolutely stuffed. The restaurant had a great vibe and the set menu was perfect
The food is always great and the service is always friendly. Very good atmosphere and usually busy so make sure you book up in advance.
Excellent food (too much of it for us), beautiful surroundings and a brilliant atmosphere. The service was second to none. We would definitely visit this restaurant again.
Excellent food and service! Great value for money in London terms! Also a great place for vegetarians as offers quite few delicious warm dishes of that kind.
I give a very strong 4 this time. Very good food, tasty and fresh ingredients. Polite and effective waiters. I recommend a visit to this Thai restaurant .
Great Thai food, not just usual standard fare. Right in the heart of Soho, nice ambience and the staff are really attentive. Prices good mid range and Thai wine is fun.
Great food and great service. We felt really well looked after! They even found a safety pin when my dress broke. The lobster is outstanding.
We went on a Saturday. All good but it was quite pricey for small portions. Food quality is good though. Atmosphere and service was all fine.
Great food and service as always - we are vegetarian and did not struggle with variety of veg options on menu. Will be going again!
Great food, sloppy service. Brought starters and mains at same time - because they were confused that two of us didn't want starters (we were actually sharing two starters and explained this). Slow on drinks.
The service was excellent and the food was very good but rather overpriced. The restaurant was very quiet (only three other tables in use) and as the kitchen shut at 1400 - rather early for lunch - we were rushed through our meal which ruined the overall experience.
Excellent atmosphere, nice service and very understanding. The food was very good and the menu actually good value. The cocktails were superb too! Totally recommend it.
Everything was great , really enjoyed the food. The service was amazing. Will visiting again and would recommend this place . Best Thai restraint I have been.
As someone who comes from Asia I always have reservation about South East Asian food abroad. Turned out to be nice Thai food & good atmosphere to chat & catch up with friend though the price is quite steep.
The food is very tasty and rich of different flavours. The place is recommended, although the prices are quite high. Same level as three years before.
It's the second time that I have dinner at Patara and the food is absolutely amazing. The service is very good and the atmosphere is also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. It has become one of my favourites.
Food was fantastic. Restaurant was very busy and a bit chaotic at times but service was friendly and we were given a table upstairs which was a bonus. Overall good.
great food, great service, great friends, great time, what more is there to say. It's probably one of the best deals in Soho for an informal night out
Great attentive service service and delicious food. We had cocktails to start and I can really recommend the delicious Patara Passion with Passion Fruit and vodka. The best Thai restaurant in London!
We had the taster meal, the food was excellent with a superb vareity of tastes, but service was a little slow and 2 meals arrived 5 mins before the other 2.
Lovely staff, and awesome food... Wish the service was a bit better timed though. We had to wait a while before the first order, but once that was done, it was an amazing evening.
