Amazingly good food. Service was excellent and the ambience great too. This is definitely a place I'd come to regularly. Could not recommend it more.

food was amazing only reason it wasn't a 6 was because we had to constantly remind them about our drinks orders which kept being forgotten and delayed

Very nice Thai, conveniently next to the Teathre, so we enjoyed a perfect dinner date. We had the Patara banquet (x2) and we found it to be good value for money.

The food was excellent as was the presentation not to mention the friendliness of the staff. We were visiting here before going off to the theatre and they asked for the outset what our timings were to ensure the food being served on time. I would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to go again with more time on my hands to enjoy one of their banquets.

We had to rush to get to the theatre which meant we were unable to enjoy the ambience of the restaurant but the food and service was exceptional! The staff were really friendly and took great care to ensure we wouldn't miss our show. Superb Thai!!

Our first time at Patara was for dinner before the ​theatre. The ambiance is pleasant with soft warm lighting and plenty of staff being just-the-right-amount of attentive. We had two starters, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and delicious: Chor Muang, lilac dumplings with caramelized chicken and peanut; and Goong Sarong, spiced marinated prawns in filo pastry served with avocado, tomato, pickled cucumber, and greens. Both starters were excellent, but we were really surprised by our main dish, which turned out to be the best Pad Thai we've had. (We live in San Francisco, where there are many, many good Thai restaurants.) We saw many other dishes pass by that we'd love to try, so I imagine we'll be back here on our next visit to London.

Lovely atmosphere, food very tasty would highly recommend. It was my boyfriend's birthday so they were very accommodating and produced a chocolate pudding with a candle in and sang happy birthday which really made the night, really pleased with the whole experience.

We had the banquet for 3 people and felt it was very overpriced for the quality of food. The starters were very nice but the mains were mediocre at best. The beef dish was dry and inedible. Such a shame as the service was very good. Wouldn't go back there though.

Fab birthday meal for 6 staff very attentive and accommodating when my guests complained about cold food. My seafood platter was on point I loved the curried lobster. The Night was made special as staff sang happy birthday I would definitely return.

Amazing food. Beautiful decor. Fantastic service, didn't feel rushed and we were there for hours. Highly recommended! I went as a vegetarian and had plenty of choice, the panang tofu was delicious. I'll be going back soon.

Great food which was authentically Thai. Service was brilliant and lenongrass smell as you walk in is divine. It reminded me if my stay in Thailand a few years ago! Great date location.

Greeting was very warm, service really attentive. Food superb, set menu 👍 Braised beef in coconut was delicious, prawn soup was just as good but the green curry was wow.

Really delicious food, very attentive staff innitially and very friendly. We ordered one of the banquets. Unfortunately as the night went on, it was difficult to get a staff members attention to order our meals, re-order wine and ask for the bill. It appears as the restaurant got more busier the less attentice staff were. Despite this, we still had a great time, the restaurant has great ambience and the food is gorgeous and delicious too! Plenty of food given on the banquet, great value for money!

Best Thai Food we've eaten this side of Thailand. We had the lovely tasting menu: although it was much food, we ate it all because it was so good. Service was great. Only negative point was that we found that the courses followed each other too quick.

Had the most amazing lunch - chose from the à la carte menu so had several different starters which were all delicious. Prawn and chicken Pad Thai were amazing and the beef curry was given a big thumbs up! The staff were very friendly and attentive.

We've visited Patara in soho several tume socer the past 10 years and I'm so pleased to see that the quality of food ( which is exceptional ) and staff ( attentive and friendly ) has remained throughout that time.

Service was good and efficient. Food was either so so to very good. I eat quite a fair bit of Thai food and found there was just a bit too much sugar in all dishes.

Very nice Thai cuisine. I would recommend to all. I ate at both the location near Barbican, and then in Soho. We preferred the Barbican location, smaller, and the taste was slightly better overall. But, both very nice.

Food was really tasty and the service was good. It was very quite on a Monday lunchtime, but that suited us for our business meeting.

the food was not as expected to be for a place like this. the starter( fish cakes) were chewey, means they did not tase as something made at the premises

Patara Soho was fantastic! Ate there prior to theatre and alerted the staff to our need for timely service and departure time to make the theatre start. Service was quick, pleasant and timely. Ordered two of their signature dishes and both were outstanding.

Great tasty food. Especially the lamb shank Massaman curry and black cod in ginger. Jasmine tea is also recommended. The only reason for a 5 instead of a 6 is that it was very busy and it was difficult to hear each other as noise levels were high. If you've tasted authentic Thai food then you'll love it here.
