Lovely venue always love to see the kitchen...we had the pre theatre menu which was served promptly leaving us plenty of time to get the theatre....let down by steak being over cooked and no check back as would have sent both back

Unfortunately although I received multiple confirmation emails our reservation was not in the restaurant IT system. This wasn’t a problem and we were promptly seated to enjoy a lovely Italian meal with great service.

We attended prior to visiting the theatre so it was early evening and was very quiet when we arrived. Unfortunately it was also quite cold and a bit lacking in atmosphere. Food was very good and served nice and hot and we had a comfortable table in a booth. We only had time for a main course and a coffee. Service was very good and they bought us some complimentary chips to share so this was a nice touch.

Waited half an hour for starters still weren’t at the table. Asked what was going on didn’t know. Waited even longer nothing. We arrived in plenty of time for food before the theatre but because it took so long we asked to cancel the starter. The mains arrived which was crispy chicken with pasta and tomato sauce. awful chicken was all burnt around the edges the pasta was just like pasta you cook from the cupboard and barely any sauce. And it was so bland so seasoning at all. Covered it with salt and pepper. If I wasn’t starving I wouldn’t have ate it but I ate 3/4 of it but told them weren’t happy at all. They did apologise and didn’t charge for food. We paid for our drinks and we did give them £20 instead of 12 which the bill was because we could tell the staff on the floor were extremely busy and we are not horrible people and can appreciate the apology. But all in all I’m not rushing back that’s for sure.

Starters were amazing Mains we both had steak it should have been cooked medium/well done it was very rare. We both ate what we could. The waitress was awhile coming over as they were really busy. so didn’t say anything as we had eaten what we could. I wanted to say something when they collected the plates but I hate to use the toilets. I would via toy again but definitely ask for very well done

This was our first visit and we enjoyed it immensely. We will definitely come back again

Its been quite some time since we have been, and we we're pleasantly surprised, we'll definitely be trying it again.

We were running late, so phoned the restaurant, the staff could not have been more helpful. When we arrived we were greeted with smiles and sympathy for our journey. The food was delicious and service just right. We will definitely be visiting again.
